"We really loved our stay with Danuta at the Victorian Bed and Breakfast of Staten Island. The home is so elegant and interesting. Full of history. Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable, every room was. Danuta is a great host, very caring and knowledgeable and hardworking. The price is great and access to the city was quick and easy. My family and I miss Danuta and her lovely home, I feel like calling her just to chat and say hello."

"Danuta is an incredible hostess and supplies everything you need to feel right at home. And the home itself is also a true gem. It’s historic, warm, charming, and very cozy. It’s got two screened in porches, as well as lots of comfy seating, reading material, and appealing art. Would definitely love to stay again! Thank you, Danuta!"

"TL:DR Modest house located in northern Staten Island full of beautiful rooms and enjoyable breakfast. When we looked for a place to stay, we were mostly considering price in New York because price of most places we tried to book was exorbitant. This Bed and Breakfast was affordable, considering few things: 1. we wanted to be somewhat within the vicinity of Queens and the Russian neighborhood; 2. As students, we did not want to pay exorbitant amount for stays; 3. Book somewhere that is unique to New York. My friends and I decided to book this lovely house for two days for a concert and we knew that after our morning and afternoon schedule, there was no way we will be arriving at 9PM, which in the check-in instruction was the latest we can arrive, but the host was nice to accommodate for us. When we entered, what was waiting for us was a classical music and beautiful furniture and tapestries. Then in the morning, our host who stays next door in this 3-story duplex, came and made breakfast for us. She was an elderly lady who enjoys living with her cats and being a host for those who comes to stay in her house. She was thankful that we turned off unnecessary lights and A/C before we went up our first night when we came late. She asked us if we want anything for breakfast. We had fruits, yogurt, bread, and pancakes for breakfast. Second day, she even made us bacon too. She also has Keurig coffee and various juices. Our breakfast was plentiful and delicious each morning. She also had water bottles for us to drink and to take out whenever we needed it. Bathroom was clean and the hot water came out nicely. Our host would change our towels and sheets every day. We did bring our own shampoo and body wash, but she had some in the bathroom. She really was a great host for us. There really was too many things about this place you can't help but to just love. Mainly for parties of 2, but there is one room for party of 3, which we booked. And this room has a separate room connected to the main bedroom with a door. This felt like it was more for small family rather three people, but it still worked out for us. I would recommend anyone who is tired of the same scenery of inns and motels and wants to experience a great accommodation for sleep and eat breakfast made fresh at a fairly affordable price."

"This bed and breakfast has become our home away from home, and we highly recommend it. Danuta is a perfect host and always a pleasure to talk to, especially about the incredible history of the house and its furniture! She always makes an incredible spread of eggs, toast, veggies, and bacon for breakfast, and we treasure the conversations we’ve had with Danuta and other guests over our meal. The rooms are comfortable and quite roomy, especially the one with the kitchen and the one with the lovely porch. Easy access to Staten Island ferry to Manhattan by bus or car. We have stayed here monthly for work meetings since last October, and each stay is better and better. Thank you, Danuta!"

"My friends and I had the best weekend at the Victorian b&b. Extremely easy access from the Staten Island ferry without having to taken an uber, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was wondering, and the home is insanely beautifully decorated. Plus the host is a pleasure to talk to. It was so fun hearing her talk about her life and the home over breakfast. I will be returning ❤️"
