"The location would be the only reason to stay…outside of that you have rooms that are literally suanas regardless of time of day with AC units that cannot be set off of auto. With that windows open in the middle of winter I still woke up in a puddle of sweat 13 times over my 2 night stay…outside of the inadequate expect a minimum of 5-10 minutes just to get from your floor to the lobby. With their “innovative elevator service” that replaces buttons with machines that do not work. The idea I understand but the execution is truly horrible and you will likely have multiple elevators pass before you can finally squeeze into one that’s already over the weight capacity. Truly not even a homeless person would want to stay here or deserves this shitty quality considering the price. I will never stay here again as if location is all to offer their are a billion better places."

"From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The property is beautiful, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Every detail reflected true five-star quality. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. Special recognition to Lek at concierge, Christina in housekeeping, Brian and Joland at front desk for their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with every request during our stay as we celebrate a birthday made a lasting impression. Housekeeping was flawless, the amenities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was both luxurious and inviting. This hotel sets the standard for hospitality, and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding stay! Location a huge plus."

"The Hilton Midtown in New York City is in a fantastic central location—so central, in fact, that apparently everyone on Earth decided to stay there at the exact same time I did. I visited in the dead of winter, which meant my Miami blood immediately froze solid and any sightseeing plans were canceled on arrival. The hotel was packed. The elevators weren’t just busy—they were a full-blown endurance test. Getting on one felt like trying to board a lifeboat on the Titanic. The front desk staff looked like they were surviving a natural disaster, and the line for the breakfast café resembled something straight out of Disney World (minus the fun and characters). That said, the rooms were clean and perfectly fine, and the accommodations were decent overall. But between the crowds and the bizarre elevator system, I felt like I was waiting in line for literally everything I did. The hotel even posted apology signs for the elevators—which is both honest and deeply concerning. On the plus side, the gym was large, spacious, and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet, however, was $40… which made me immediately develop a strong preference for the café across the street and the nearby Starbucks. If you want to stay somewhere central in NYC where you can walk almost everywhere, this hotel does the job. Just plan your elevator trips like you’re scheduling a doctor’s appointment—because it can take up to 10 minutes to go up or down. Because of the Great Elevator Debacle of Hilton Midtown, I’m giving it three stars overall."

"Awesome location, rooms were clean and comfortable. Bar drinks are just ok, food is meh. But I didn’t go to NYC to eat/drinkk in my hotel. Its location is perfect. We walked about 5 miles a day to see what we wanted and to go where we wanted. Subway was easy to use. The elevators are nice, but they do need more. Construction on one, but there is almost always a line to go up and getting down is awful. Give yourself plenty of time and the higher the room, the easier to get “on”. Oftentimes people had been waiting multiple stops for the elevator to get down to the lobby, if on lower floors, but it would be full. That was the only pitfall, but could be a significant one if you are in a hurry."

"Room had a nice view. Staff was friendly. Room was dirty when we walked in. There were hairs in the bathtub, and sink wasn’t very clean. Restrooms and rooms along with furniture are very old! Bedsheets had some hairs and not very clean. Room was cleaned once out of 4 days so it’s not daily. They do give you a 35$ voucher for the cafe they have and 25$ for their services. Luggage hold is free if you get there early but they charge 5$ a piece if you need to check out of your room but still have time before the airport. Elevators are nice they have a system that makes it run smoother. Hotel seems very central so that’s a good thing. Lots of things around but that’s just New York. Over all because of how old rooms seems and how dirty it was 2/5. Wouldn’t stay here again ."
