"Rooms were a good size and equipped but the room service was poor/non existent had our bed made once in six nights and had to ask at night twice for clean towels even over a Holiday period that's unacceptable. Reception staff yes helpful and welcoming Breakfast hit and miss for us on the last morning only around 50% of food options available again very poor but good location for subway to Manhatten and all travel links wouldn't stay again though"

"Good things: 1. Friendly and welcoming staff. 2. Nice breakfast selection (eggs, pork, waffles, muffins, coffee, butter). 3. Coffee and tea are available all day on site. 4. Clean and well-maintained rooms. 5. Convenient location. It is about a 7-minute walk to the subway and roughly 20 minutes total to Midtown Manhattan. Bad things: 1. It can be noisy during the day due to nearby construction or neighborhood parties (not inside the hotel). 2. The area outside didn't feel very safe to me. I saw some shady activity on 40th Ave and felt uncomfortable walking there. 3. There’s not much to do around the hotel itself. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you're mainly looking for a spot to sleep and enjoy breakfast, and you don't plan to spend much time walking around the neighborhood at night."

"SO LOUD CONSTRUCTION!!!! Do not stay here.. it's right next door starts at 5:30 am you will not sleep one minute. They shouldn't be allowed to operate with such loud construction.. non stop jack hammering from 5:30 am.. my suggestion book anywhere else unless you wake up at 5am Other Cons: They do not recognize Marriott status. You will not get a higher floor room unless you pay $$$. That was explicitly told to me the front desk. The guy at front desk during the day is extremely unhelpful and non accommodating. Despite the construction I asked if he could be put me on the opposite side of the hotel and there is no accommodation. Once again if you pay $$$ there may be a chance but the construction is right next door and very loud, so loud they had the put disclaimers all over every website. No room safe. The area is very unsafe at night. I've stayed at many places in Long Island City and they were substantially better. You have to walk through a few streets that are very shady and I would consider that dangerous at night. Bottom line don't stay here!! The positive reviews are probably from a old-time when this stuff never mattered like the serious construction. It's now 8:30 a.m and it's been 3 hours of non-stop demolition!!!!"

"We had nice clean rooms, which is the biggest priority. The hotel staff and parking valet were amazing and kind, reflecting a pretty good value on what you’re paying. Good enough location in proximity to Manhattan with a subway station and buses just around the corner. Although first impressions of the location are a little intimidating, locals are used to tourists and visitors and didn’t bother anyone even with us taking the trains late at night. Will be returning for further stays."

"Loved the convenience of the kitchenette, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh and satisfying. The hotel also offers unlimited coffee, tea, and water, which was a great bonus. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What truly made this stay exceptional was Christina Ortiz, the Operations Manager. Christina is simply amazing, professional, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to guest satisfaction. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel truly welcomed. Her leadership is reflected in how smoothly the hotel runs and how well the staff treats every guest. Thanks to Christina and her team, my stay was not just comfortable but memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on my next trip to NYC."
