"Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting New York often while working on a personal project, and this most recent stay marked my sixth time at The Marlton. I can say with complete certainty there is no other place I’d rather stay. The Marlton has a way of feeling less like a hotel and more like a beautiful, familiar home. Every detail feels considered, cozy, and quietly charming, without ever trying too hard. It’s the kind of place that immediately puts you at ease. The downstairs ambiance is everything that feels right about New York, lively yet intimate, timeless, and full of character. It’s a space I always find myself returning to, whether for a quiet moment or to simply take in the energy around me. The staff, as always, are incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating, which makes each stay feel effortless and personal. I truly hope to continue returning here for many years to come."

"This has been the absolute best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The Marlton went above and beyond to foresee our every need, and to ensure a fantastic stay. While the room was quaint, this is what we expected for a boutique hotel in this price range. Under the bed we were easily able to fit our luggage, and the small closet was perfect for our coats and dressier wear. My spouse and I stayed at the Marlton for just over a week to celebrate our honeymoon, and it was such a comfort to know that we had delicious breakfast and coffee served downstairs every morning. The complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages also came in very handy (they even had vegan options)! Lazarus, our wonderful barista who greeted us nearly every day even felt like an old friend by the end of our trip. On our last day, we had an issue with our ride to the airport, and the hotel was able to provide a shuttle service in under 15 minutes so we didn’t miss our flight home. Truly can’t understate what a pleasure it was to stay in this beautiful, historic, and humble hotel. Bravo!!!"

"The Marlton Hotel is in a great location. It’s affordable for such a cute neighborhood, and the lobby is dreamy. I still think about cozying up by the fireplace with a glass of wine. That said, the rooms are extremely small and tight. I’m not claustrophobic and still had trouble sleeping because of how compact the space is. It works well for a solo traveler, but for two people (especially with full-size luggage), it’s nearly impossible to get comfortable. Managing full size luggage on the walk-up can also be tough if you’re on your own. Overall: super charming hotel and great vibes, just be prepared for very small rooms."

"I absolutely love this hotel. It’s so charming and old New York in the best, most soulful way. The rooms are small but chic and the location is fantastic. The fireplace in the lobby and the energy at the common area tables is always so fun. Samantha at the front desk is amazing and made me feel like an old friend coming for a visit. Everyone who works here is so kind and friendly. Highly recommend!"

"This hotel is fantastic from top to bottom. The rooms are petite and thoughtfully organized to maximize the space with under bed storage, a closet and quality linens. Very clean with all the amenities you need, mini bar with complimentary snacks was a treat. The lobby, bar and restaurant were bustling with people all day and night because the ambiance, fireplace, drinks, food and service was top notch and locals and hotel guests gathered there to enjoy. This is our new favorite hotel, a little pricey but worth every penny! Can’t wait to return."
