"I feel The Ludlow Hotel is a bit overpriced for what you get. Overall the stay was fine and the location was very convenient to numerous bars and restaurants. There are also subway stops just a couple blocks away for the F M J and Z lines. While the room was decorated nicely and tastefully, the soundproofing is lacking; we were woken up numerous times in the middle of the night by people coming back to their rooms and being drunk and/or loud, as well as the guests above us being... intimate. I will say the water pressure in the shower is the best I've experienced at a hotel in NYC so far though. Service was top notch. From the doorman to the front desk, they definitely excel here. High marks for that. The bar area seemed like a cool spot to hang out. Unfortunately, we didn't get to do that since it was always packed with what seemed to be mostly non-guests. They make a good Negroni though. I personally don't think I'd stay at The Ludlow Hotel again, but I could see this place being perfect for certain people."

"We stayed at The Ludlow for 4 nights as a get away vacation to visit NYC. For the price point of 4 nights (3500 dollars), I felt like there were a few things that were lacking in my opinion. The most frustrating aspect is that we were woken up every night between the hours of 12-2am from other guests either in their rooms talking or coming back drunk and loud. There’s nothing quiet about this hotel which I’d expect if you want to be branded as luxury. The downstairs lounge was also always full with people either working during the day or for cocktails in the lobby at night. It seemed that the majority of the people there were not even hotel guests which was frustrating to me since I’m paying to be their guest and I’m not prioritized and couldn’t ever find a seat to snag a cocktail. If you want a trendy hotel to party at or host a bachelorette trip where you’re not concerned by noise and just want to have fun this would be a great place. I thought the interiors were designed very well and I enjoyed the aesthetics. The rooms were spacious for NY and the water pressure was fantastic in the shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helped whenever possible. The doorman we encountered multiple times during our stay may have been my favorite part about this hotel. He was always in a great mood and you could tell he loved his job. Location was very convenient to hop on the subway or walk over to East Village with plenty to do on Ludlow street itself."

"This place really hits different. I chose it because it’s part of Design Hotels, and I was genuinely amazed from the moment I arrived. The room was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and clean, and the bathroom was something special. I was given a high floor, and the view was spectacular. You can tell the entire hotel was designed by real professionals — the attention to detail is impressive. I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay. The staff were professional yet warm, which made everything even better. I’ll definitely be coming back! The only thing that made my stay a bit less comfortable was a strange, constant noise in my room — almost like an AC running, even though it wasn’t on. I had to sleep with earplugs, and even then, the sound had such a weird tone that I could still hear it. If I stay longer next time, I’ll definitely try to get this resolved."

"I worked with The Ludlow to coordinate a 20-person reservation, and their team was prompt, clear, and on top of every detail. Communication was smooth from start to finish, which made the whole process painless. Our group loved the location—walkable, lively, and perfect for our itinerary—and everyone was genuinely impressed with their rooms. Stylish, comfortable, and exactly what you want after a long day. Overall, an easy partnership and a great stay for the team."

"A beautifully decorated hotel with a great lobby and friendly staff. We spent lots of time hanging out in the cozy common space. Our room was lovely however we were unable to use the bathtub due to some electrical work in the building causing the water to turn a weird color. The front desk accommodated us for that, though! I would also say that the beds aren’t very comfortable unfortunately. The pillows need some serious upgrades! The location was nice if you’re looking to stay in the Lower East Side. Right next door to Katz Deli and Russ & Daughters, or Clinton St. Bakery, another great breakfast choice aside from Dirty French at the hotel. There’s also a CVS and subway access nearby which is convenient. Overall enjoyed our stay but felt like for the price we paid there was a bit lacking."
