"The worse hotel I have ever used in the State. I would NEVER recommend this place for anyone to patronize. I have booked for a week and I only did a day at the place and they refused refunding the rest of my money to me. TV remotes are kept at reception, bedspread are dirty smelling and air-conditioned noisy and producing stinky smelling air. This is nasty. They automatical beverage dispenser are located upstairs. My room was bad"

"This was actually the first hotel in which I ever stayed in NYC. At JFK, when I gave the Taxi driver the address, he said "The Bronx?! - are you sure?". I said "yes" and he took me here to the Sheridan Hotel. Great memories! No safety issues. Felt safe throughout and was walking the streets of South Bronx the morning after to take the subway to Manhattan."

"Found a crackpipe in my bed. I was literally sleeping with a crackpipe. I told the hotel staff and all he kept saying was house keeping cleans the rooms before each guest basically trying to insinuate I smoke crack. No apology only excuses."

"My main problem was with the room. The deadbolt/lock did not work at all. (Was suggested to just use the bolt thing on the top of the door that just stops people from opening it all the way. Was not impressed by that at all.) The bathroom sink was gross upon arriving and the toilet was broken. I am not a stranger to lower rated hotels but I have never stayed in one where the lock was broke before."
