"10 min walk from woodside station. Walk up hill then downhill so if you have a lot of lugguage that will a challenge to get to the station. Room was big and simple. It can be a little noisy even with a double pane glass but things do die down at night. Neighborhood seems safe enough to walk alone day and night though I did notice metal grill on first floor windows of every house there."

"The total number of stars reflections a positive experience. (Stayed on 11/5/2025). Because... The price was very affordable and reasonable. This then suited my expectations and desires for a quick one night stay in the city. Short walk to the LIRR or 7 subway line was great. (MTA bus line right outside the hotel). Inside the room, it was modern and well kept to where I felt happy with the hotel selection. I am not a picky or high maintenance person. (Though I did notice a few cosmetic things). Privacy was not a concern. Noise outside is unavoidable unless you're far away from vehicle traffic. I may have been farther away from the main event I attend (in lower Manhattan), but the accessibility to public transit from the hotel was uplifting. Bottom line... If you are a go with the flow, low maintenance, or simplistic person and want a cheap hotel for a good price, I recommend this one. (Plenty of places around to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner)."

"Room itself is OK, but the conditioning is as loud as a tractor! Not possible to sleep with. Luckily it was not hot in the evening and we could sleep with an open window. It was not so much noise outside. Service was OK, but the breakfast was terrible... The worst breakfast I had in a hotel... EVER. And I traveled 35 countries."

"I had a wonderful experience with my reservation, and I want to sincerely thank the team for their support. Everyone was very helpful throughout the process, but I especially want to recognize Raymond at the front desk. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and stress-free, and his kindness and professionalism really stood out. I truly appreciate the effort and care from the whole team—thank you so much for making my stay more enjoyable!"
