"Josie ignored an email I sent asking questions about the bnb, so I called to ask directly to book 4 nights in August. She told me the nights were available, and I then explained to her I’m booking for my adult brother who has autism. I only revealed my brother’s minor disability because unlike the advertising implies, this apartment isn’t very private. I was sharing this information as a courtesy, and to also explain I’ll be accompanying my brother for check in and check out, as I live close by. Josie completely changed her tone, saying she needed to “think” about allowing a guest with autism in her home. She texted me the following day saying they can’t accept my brother. This is discrimination against someone with a minor disability and it’s completely unacceptable. This is intolerant and illegal. I may file a formal complaint with the New York State division of human rights. No one should support this ableist business."

"I didn't get a chance to stay here because we had to cancel due to a change in work plans, but Josie was great to communicate with an was prompt with processing our refund. I regret not getting to stay as it looks like an excellent place."

"My husband and I stayed there for five days the end of June. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The bedroom, one and 1/2 bath and sitting room were immaculately clean. Fresh towels were furnished each day, plus pastries each morning. Coffee pot and nice coffee plus cereals were also available. No one bothered you, but you had everything you needed just like home. The location so close to the park is convenient plus shopping, movie theater and restaurants are close by. If you have a problem with stairs you should consider there are three flights of stairs."
