"This hotel is located near Yankees Stadium, a little distance from central New York. This area is said to be less safe, but as long as you're careful, you'll be fine. The entrance is narrow, but the rooms have high ceilings so they feel spacious. The hotel also has a lounge with a free coffee server and free breakfast in the morning. Breakfast included bread and bagels, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, and drinks. Hotels in Manhattan and Brooklyn can be expensive, but this hotel is reasonably priced for the area and highly recommended. Room tour movie can be seen on YouTube. Search by hakurepo(泊レポ) or hotel’s name."

"This hotel was great! The staff was so very friendly and helpful- we loved the Perivian and Mexican restaurant recommendations atound the corner. The room was quite comfortable with a nice attention to detail. There were some characters in the streets walking to the Metro (which was only 2 short blocks away), but we never felt unsafe, just like we are in the biggest city in the US. The continental breakfast was delicious, and they even had Eggo toaster waffles. The only pic I took was of the shower gels/creams. Hope it's helpful."

"very clean and neat hotel, rooms are very big and spacious. not much of a view but in the heart of the bronx, which is an experience. staff are very friendly especially Abdul, was very nice and cool guy. the breakfast however could use some improvement by adding more variety options instead of just croissants and cereal, maybe scrambled eggs and sausages. but it wasn't the end of the world it just gives opportunity to go out in the city and eat out at the local restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and wish i could have stayed longer."

"This hotel truly is a diamond in the rough. The rooms and hotel are spotless. The interior befits it being an old opera house. The staff is above and beyond great. The breakfast is decent for a continental. 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate is a nice perk. On-site parking is very limited and first come first serve so call once you are nearby to see if there are any spots available. Now for the location, it can best be described as a rough area you probably wouldn’t want to go out in at night. If you are from or are familiar with inner city life, then it won’t surprise you to see the neighborhood. I’d definitely stay at the hotel again."
