"I stayed at Moxy in Williamsburg for 4 days. (12/5-12/8). It was fantastic! Tiffany, and Marcus were wonderful, always sweet, and willing to listen to me about my NYC adventures. The rest of the staff, were helpful and kind. I was on the 4th floor. I could hear people talking in the halls, and doors shutting, sirens, but nothing my green 💚 noise could not help. Weekends are busy! Rooftop bar is very busy on the weekends,so I would suggest a lower floor, if you are not wanting a lot of noise. Also check hours. They hold private events so it is not always open to the public. Free coffee from 7-10 am was perfect. The room was small, yet for 1 person was enjoyable. My room was clean, with cute touches. Great music played in the lobby and elevators. Not much closet space, but it worked. Wonderful shower. The rooftop view is fantastic. A wonderful variety of shops restaurants, and bodegas in the neighborhood. I felt safe walking alone at night. I will be back! Thank you Moxy!!! Statue of 🗽 ❤️ 🍎!"

"Stayed here for 1 night for a birthday. The stage were very attentive. Its absolutely a chick hotel, excellent location much to do. They didnt make much of a fuss. It has excellent nightlife and restaurants. Its a great short term place to stay especially for the nightlife / social aspect. I will note the rooms are small, can be awkward layout with the sink in the main area. No Mini Fridge or Microwave which was slightly disappointing so we ended up tossing a ton of food and couldn't keep beverages cold. Free coffee from 7a-10a and you do get a free drink ticket and access to the rooftop lounge. Irs consistent for a Posh Boutique Hotel. The staff were so kind to hold our luggae for a few hours while we stepped out before our travel. I absolutely would stay again!"

"I’m genuinely disappointed with my stay. I spend a significant amount of time in hotels, so I have a solid reference point, and this experience fell well below expectations. Noise and Sleep Quality Weekends are simply impossible if you plan on resting. Loud music from the rooftop continues until 4 AM, and the sound isolation is so poor that it kept us awake even though we were nowhere near the top floor. When we raised the issue, the only explanation given was, “This is a party hotel,” which doesn’t address the problem. Room Quality The standard room was extremely small with an awkward layout — a divider between the shower and toilet and an exposed sink. Thankfully, the staff accepted to move us to a larger room given our longer stay and luggage, which we appreciated. However, the lack of amenities was surprising. No slippers, no toothbrush or toothpaste, no coffee — nothing. It felt incredibly bare for a Marriott Bonvoy property. Housekeeping and Service Delays Service throughout the stay felt slow and uncoordinated. At one point, we specifically asked the front desk to have our room cleaned while we went out for an hour or so, hoping to come back and nap. When we returned, nothing had been done, and it was clear no one had followed up on the request. On top of that, getting water delivered to the room became an ordeal. It took six attempts over two days before anything arrived. We were later told that our calls weren’t even reaching reception but an external management service, which only added to the confusion. Food and Beverage Breakfast wasn’t included — unusual compared to other Marriott Bonvoy hotels at this level. Even basic drip coffee was only complimentary from 7–10 AM. Elite Member Recognition As a Platinum/Titanium Marriott Bonvoy member, I normally receive at least a few reliable perks or acknowledgments. None were offered here. Additional Fees and Facilities The “destination fees” supposedly cover tickets to local activities, but none of this was explained at check-in. Overall, the stay was extremely disappointing. Services were slow, inconsistent, and not streamlined at all. I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone."

"So far so good! The entire staff has been amazing. They came to the curb and grabbed our luggage from the taxi and brought it in for us, and everyone at the front counter was so friendly & fun! The room is small but clean and tidy. There is a safe but no mini fridge or Make-Up/magnified mirror. We oddly have two double beds instead of a king, but I guess I will just have to enjoy my own bed lol. The hotel decor is crazy, cool, very artistic & funky and fun. Love it!!! The minor hiccups is that the elevatorElevator was being a little persnickety and I got a $7 cappuccino that basically was coffee with milk - zero frothy peaks - which is disappointing since it's not a cappuccino plus there was some goop in it.Also, the toilet seat moves if you move which scared the crap out of you. All in all, a very cool hotel."

"my overall experience of the Moxy over five days last week is that more style than substance. it is definitely a cool venue and great location. We were part of a family group. The rooms are small and the hooks for hanging clothes not convenient. Bathrooms in room are good but rooms were not cleaned every day so towels were an issue as there was no place to hang them. the response to our request in this regard was pleasant but ineffective. Public bathrooms are dark. Lobby is very pleasant and drinks excellent."
