"Incredible experience staying at Merchant. The staff is incredible, they made me feel so welcome and made sure everything was well taken care of for my stay. The views from this hotel are incredible, with corner rooms where you can see both the downtown and midtown skyline. And the location is fantastic being on Orchard street, one of the best streets in NYC with incredible shopping and restaurants and easy access to the entire city."

"I WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN! Great location, metro station is less than 5 min walk away, lots of good coffee shops and restaurants around. The service was excellent , overall great experience staying at The Merchant. The rooftop bar view is incredible too! Rob at the check in desk was very helpful."

"We had a fantastic stay with The Merchant for my girlfriends 30th birthday. Special thanks to Rob who went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing experience. He made sure we had one of the best rooms in The Merchant Hotel with incredible views of the city. Also decorating our room with balloons and leaving a bottle of rose for us on our return from birthday celebrations. The location is perfect, just outside the very loud centre but with easy access to all the sights. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!"

"Best hotel room we've ever had. We were extremely lucky to get the second best room (we were told at check-out) in the hotel. The view is pictured, windows are huge. The rooms are very big as well. Clean, pays attention to details, attentive employees and a haven of quiet in the busy streets. (Obviously NYC is never quiet at night, but we had very restful nights here.) Awesome breakfast/lunch spots near the hotel as well (Good Thanks Café, Russ & Daughters), and an amazing rooftop bar. If possible, we'll definitely book here for our next visit!"

"I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and was thoroughly impressed. The room was beautiful – I especially loved the minimalist style, which was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It made me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the bar, which had a great atmosphere and an amazing view – perfect for a relaxing evening. The hotel’s location was also fantastic: very cool, central, with lots of great spots nearby. The staff were always incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. You can really feel the warm hospitality. I’d definitely love to come back!"
