"Very clean hotel. Tiny but efficient room. Nice little touches you don’t get at most hotels such as a shower cap and ear plugs (which we didn’t need but nice to have if you do!) adjustable temperature that worked and excellent fluffy towels. We will stay here again."

"This place was phenomenal! First off, it is so cute, so quaint, and was the perfect backdrop for visiting NYC around Christmas time. The sweet girl working the desk was so kind and professional, making our check-in/out process seamless. We were able to leave our luggage there until our room was ready and was also able to leave it there after we checked out until we caught our flight later that evening (for free!) There is a small grab-and-go breakfast (mainly pastries) with a couple warm drinks available every morning, making that one less meal to pay for while visiting if you don't want to. The room itself was of course, small, but it worked for my mom and I, and honestly we barely spent any time there other than to shower and sleep. And let me say, SO CLEAN! The clean reviews were the main reason we booked it, and it definitely held up to those claims. I have no words for how cute the rooftop area is - such a hidden gem in the city. I would 100% recommend anybody stay here and I know if I ever visit again, The Little Charlie will be the first place I look for availability. Highly recommend!"

"Nicely located on 2nd Ave, a 10 minute walk from 5th and all the shops. The hotel is clean bright, staff are so polite and friendly. Rooms clean and minimalist with a small fridge, good size TV, plenty of towels, gels, and the beds are so comfortable and linen is nice and soft. Breakfast is pastries, and drinks, nice to start the day and you can grab and go if you're off to see the sites. Door to the outside can only be accessed by your room card after 8pm, so secure. Next door is the best small supermarket I have ever been in! Shelves are so tidy, meals, sandwiches, bakery, coffee the list goes on, amazing. There is also The Perfect Pint around the corner which serves lots of beers and really good food, very friendly staff and TV'S showing sports. Thursday rooftop there's free drinks, it was minus 4 when we went up there so not used to its full capacity, help yourself from the ice cream truck in the corner. If I return to NY I'd stay here again without hesitation. 5 mins to Grand Central for subway."

"We recently stayed and loved the vibe of this little hotel - would return! I would give it a 4.5, but couldn't bear to give it just 4 stars. As everyone says, the rooms are tiny but its fine - we were just there to sleep! It had everything we needed. - The bed is memory foam & quite firm. Daughter loved it, and I was good once I got used to it. - Loved the automatic room shades and slim tv mounted on the wall. - Plenty of large fluffy towels for our stay. - The hot water though....we were on the 4th floor & it likely took 10 min to get hot water for the shower. I thought at first there was a problem & there was none....so leave yourself time when getting ready! - And there was a dryer and diffuser attachment in the bathroom! Will know next time not to pack one (Remington) For the hotel overall - check in was super easy & the roof is absolutely adorable! Will try to spend more time there when we return. - We had to get up for a show Sunday & the continental spread was not out shortly after 7am. We just stopped along our way, but know that its not available early. - Appreciate that they provide a locked closet for luggage storage but everyone gets & knows the code, so dont leave anything valuable in there. The door was also wide open when we stopped back to grab our backpacks :/ Overall a great stay - thank you!! And would gladly return!"

"Friendly, accommodating staff! Gorgeous lobby and nice pastry spread for breakfast. Everything was clean and operated as expected. We were in a suite so a little more space than the normal tiny rooms. Had a huge bathroom with a tub. Liked the storage under the bed. Would be handy to have a coat rack of some sort. There was one above the besides table but it was an awkward spot for a long peacoat. The location is great, walkable to grand central and Broadway/Times Square. Would stay here again!"
