"I've stayed here in times past, but haven't returned in awhile until now. I have to admit I am very impressed with the improvements I have seen. These rooms are very comfortable, the staff is great, and the overall experience has been a good one. Merry Christmas everyone."

"Its absolutely nowhere near as bad as some of these reviews. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times for 5 days each (for work). The room was decent. The bathrooms are clean, they have toothbrush/toothpaste available by request. My room was cleaned EVERYDAY and the cleaning ladies are quite nice but keep in mind English may not be their first language. I do not drive but the parking lot was full everyday I was there so it might not be reliable. My biggest complaint is that due to the affordability, its booked by a lot of young people and the noise level in the halls can be a lot at times. I had to call the front desk to ask some people to turn down their music. The person saying they would rather sleep in a metro station than this hotel is super extra dramatic ; don't expect a quiet spa environment in a BROOKLYN, NYC hotel that's $100/night. Set you expectations accordingly with the price you're paying so you can avoid causing yourself unnecessary stress. $100 in NYC gets you the bare minimum and this hotel exceeds expectations. if you want amenities, quiet and staff that will kiss your butt, plan for $300/night.. this is New York City!!!"

"considering this was my first stay at an nyc hotel, i know now i won’t be as cheap again. aside from the bogus security deposit and service fees, which they don’t tell you until you get there, i stayed in a room where the cleaning lady clearly didn’t wash their sheets often or properly. there looked to be brown stains on the sheets. the towels also smelled old and like they hadn’t been washed and when i asked for new towels, the cleaning lady acted as if i was asking for too much. i also was staying near the elevator and so i could hear everything. i’d strongly advise anyone looking at this hotel to FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. you’re better off sleeping at a metro stop than here."

"This is a great hotel option for travelers preferring a Brooklyn stay. Rooms are spacious, amenities include microwave and mini fridge. Located on a popular bus route (B35 & B70) and near Sunset and Prospect Parks, the lovely and setene Green-Wood Cemetery and also Industry City. I am a low-maintenance guest, did not want or require daily housekeeping, although it is available. Staff I encountered were all helpful and friendly. Save your money for soaking up the neighborhood, rather than a Name Brand hotel. This one was perfectly comfortable."

"Spacious room but the mattress smell. Nice and clean bathroom, full of amenities. The other down side is too noisy, my room is right in front of the elevator and exit door, it wake me up at 7am. No luck with parking, I paid 33$ to park 6mins away from the hotel."
