"This hotel isn't as bad as most of the reviews say. The room might be a bit small but it is a solid room. They had nice beds very comfy and being on the higher floor gives u a nice view to look at and the view is nicer at night. The tv is just fine great to watch movies or sports and the free wifi is great unlike some hotels. The breakfast is also not so bad the food can get me through my morning. It's also very clean for a hotel room. Overall it's not a bad hotel so I suggest going here if ur visiting"

"Absolutely appalling service. We booked this hotel through Airbnb for two separate stays during our trip to New York, and both reservations were cancelled without warning as we were literally standing in line to clear customs. No explanation was ever given—just abrupt cancellation emails. To make matters worse, we were refunded for the bookings but offered only £20 as a “goodwill gesture” to help us find alternative accommodation in New York at the last minute. Completely unacceptable, especially given the stress and expense of trying to secure somewhere else with zero notice. This level of customer service is disgraceful. Clearly, this hotel has no regard for its guests’ travel plans. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here—whether booked directly or through Airbnb—to think twice."

"DO NOT STAY HERE! RUN! You are better of not having a hotel at all. There is trash strewn in every stairwell, the elevator is frequently out of service. I have videos of the trash and the elevator out of service. We got to use the elevator ONCE, on our way in and that was it. Our TV did not work, and the front desk lady told us she would "call a friend" to help us, and NEVER called us back. We had to walk down the stairs with disabled friend with all of our luggage. I myself am recovering from a back injury that got exacerbated due to the elevator not being in service. I saw several families with elderly folks there that were affected by the elevator outage. The continental breakfast was gross. There was staff cleaning and eating right there. There was a dirty broom in front of the bagels. But they do sell candy for $5 thought! Special mention: The disgusting bathroom!!! Sink was gross, likely had not been cleaned. The tub was brown/black so we didn't feel safe even showering. Its been over a week since my stay there, we've sent NUMEROUS emails and called over 20 times, we've gotten through twice. We just spoke with someone on the phone who was beyond rude and HUNG UP ON US. I tried to resolve this amicably, but getting hung up on by a manager is quite infuriating. No customer service, no service at all. It's basically a rats nest."

"We had a travel voucher to stay here at this particular hotel to be paid by our airline. They overbooked even though we had a reservation and confirmation number. We were left to search and pay triple prices for hotel and Ubers due to this. Many people were left without a room and had to deal with the same situation on the night we were schedule to stay."

"Gross and hid my luggage in the cabinet because of my fear of taking roaches home with me. Floors sticky, breakfast was bread and coffee, random knocking on door, could hear everything. Beds about a foot apart and no room to turn around. Feels unsafe. Would not let me 12 year old daughter leave room or answer door. Just don’t. The cheap price does not make it even close to worth it. Man /owner quite rude to us."
