"You may want to think twice about booking this hotel. The first surprise was when we were charged a "service fee" in excess of $600 for a two night stay plus a "resort fee" that was close to $50. We weren't quite sure why we were being charged these fees (particularly considering this is definitely not a resort). The rooms are small (typical for NYC so not a surprise) and definitely looked tired. The best surprise, however, was when we were serenaded to EDM music until well into the morning due to the night club on one of the top floors. Windows were shaking...Not the best experience we have had."

"We stayed at Hotel Indigo in New York for one night with our family after our flight was cancelled. Given the stressful circumstances and a sleepless night, we truly appreciated that our rooms were prepared earlier than the standard check-in time. Being able to access the rooms sooner, refresh ourselves, and rest was a big positive for us. The hotel lobby itself has an interesting and stylish design, which made a good first impression. The rooms we were given were clean, and we enjoyed a nice view from the 12th floor. We also want to mention the housekeeping staff we met in the corridor — they were friendly, smiling, and wished us a pleasant stay, which we really appreciated. One area that, in our opinion, could be improved is the check-in process. Both my husband and I work in the hospitality industry and are members of the IHG group, so we are familiar with service standards. Unfortunately, during check-in we felt a bit uncomfortable, almost as if we were intruding rather than being welcomed as guests. A warmer and more guest-oriented approach would make a significant difference. Additionally, clearer communication regarding the security deposit would be highly appreciated. We were not informed in advance that the deposit would be equivalent to the room rate, and in our case, with two rooms, the total deposit was doubled. Receiving this information upfront would help avoid confusion and make the check-in experience more transparent. Overall, our stay was comfortable and the hotel has many positive aspects, but improving the check-in experience and communication would elevate the overall guest experience even further."

"The hotel looks decent at first, but be warned. The rooftop turns into a nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights, and the noise in the rooms is unbearable. It is absolutely impossible to sleep. Forget the warm welcome you usually expect from the IHG brand. Here, financial performance clearly comes first. The hotel sells access to the rooftop club to external guests, packing the place with at least 300 people. In the rooms, do not even think about opening the minibar. Simply moving the cans or snacks will result in extra charges (expensive ones), even if you don’t consume anything. On top of that, the hotel will charge the full amount of your stay upon arrival, plus a deposit of a similar amount. Make sure to inform your bank, as this will temporarily remove a substantial sum from your account. A true scam disguised as a trendy hotel."

"My fiancée and I were celebrating her birthday, and Ariel at the front desk made the entire experience unforgettable. He took amazing care of us from the moment we arrived and made sure everything in the room was absolutely spectacular. You can tell he truly cares about guests and goes above and beyond in every detail. His team is exceptional as well. Thank you, Ariel, for making our stay so special. Highly recommended!"

"We have now stayed at this hotel our last three visits to NYC. The rooms are very clean and modern with large bathrooms. The price is reasonable. It's in a great location.....you can walk from the hotel to Soho, Tribeca and Greenwich Village. There is a great Italian Restaurant (Tre Trattoria&Bar 173 Ludlow) right next door to the hotel...small and intimate with excellent food. The staff are wonderful. The hotel service is commendable. A shout out to Tiberius, who took care of us in the most courteous and professional way when there was confusion with our bill at check out. We will definitely stay here again. Anna and Laura Walton I would highly recommend staying here."
