"Just spent three nights. First Elevators never an issue. Waited one to two minutes at most. Plenty of hot water. People were uniformly nice. Although yes in check in early. Asked for 100 dollars so rooms were available when I said no they said not before 4. Funny Great location. My room was updated. Pleasant. Big enough (double). Nice I booked through a third party and we get the worst rooms no matter what hotel so note. My view was an alley. But saved a lot of just be aware Great neighborhood subway two blocks. Fun Lobby. I’m staying again in two weeks but will book direct and get a better view. And yes the urban fee. I knew it existed but no knew mentioned it or said what it was for or included. So basically I spent 40 a night for internet I didn’t need. Can’t escape it"

"Stayed here over Thanksgiving to visit family. Staff were courteous, patient and responsive. Have been visiting the cocktail bar for years on prior trips and this was our first ‘stay’ at the hotel. Not disappointed at all. The room was small, but that’s to be expected for a NYC hotel and I got a king-size bed which can be difficult to find…plus you’re probably not in the city to visit your hotel room anyway, so really who cares how big a room you get (unless you pony-up for a larger room). Will be staying here again - the local area is great and, for us, it is very close to where our family lives."

"From start to finish, the Arthouse made our vacation spectacular! Johnnie & Fatima checked us in and was even able to upgrade us to a junior suite with a late check-out (and robes!) and complimentary breakfast/coffee at their in-house cafe! They were able to hold our bags for us in a secure area until our room was ready and delivered them straight to the room once it was. The rooms were VERY clean and the housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location is phenomenal- it never took long to get an UBER, and it’s close to subway stations. It’s even walking distance to Central Park in the summer! As we checked out at the end, they even told us about the hotel car service that could take us to LGA for much less than what an UBER would have charged at that time. The driver was top-notch and helped us with all of our luggage as well! I’ve been staying at this location for 10 years now and every time I come back it always exceeds my expectations!"

"I loved this hotel! The vibe is Parisian boutique hotel meets Kimpton. The customer service was excellent, the room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a cute bar that does happy hour during the weekdays and a “library” area that does live music starting at 8pm most nights. I would even suggest this hotel for a mini staycation. Dinner at the Italian restaurant downstairs followed by a drink at the bar and then live music session, all while never having to leave the hotel, is ideal. I will be back!"

"Great find! We needed a reasonable yet nice hotel on UWS and Arthouse delivered! Extremely clean rooms, nice linens and towels. Yes, they have an "urban fee" which everyone hates but I have yet to find a hotel in NYC or any city that does not have one. The staff was phenomenal! I travel quite a bit and every staff member we encountered on our quick stay was friendly, helpful yet professional. We will definitely return!"
