"They had me at “hello”. Some of the sweetest young ladies I have ever met for staff. I needed a place for one night before flying out of JFK. The place has four floors and the lobby is one floor up. I am an old lady with a big suitcase but managed to drag it up one stair at a time. Thank goodness they accommodated my request for a room on the lowest floor, where the lobby is. I felt very safe there as a solo woman, room was small but clean and breakfast was just what I like to eat. They lent me the office phone so I could arrange a shuttle service to the airport. Go-with-us shuttle was only $35 and they were on time. I got a taxi from Penn Station which was $21 so not too bad at all."

"Chose this for my quick stay after reading all the great reviews, and it lived up to the hype! Easy check-in, check-out. Warm and cozy private room that I could lock up with my belongings. Only notes are that the toaster lost power in the breakfast room because it seemed to be sharing a power strip with other high-energy devices, and I had a hard time opening the computer to print something. Other than that, breakfast was excellent, and my stay, especially as a solo female, was great. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Absolutely amazing stay. The place might not look like anything crazy from the outside but it’s the inside that counts. The rooms are extremely clean and same with the bathrooms. This place is extremely cozy and perfect to stay in. The staff are very helpful and sweet and caring. The shower water pressure is incredible and even better than my own home. The breakfast is wonderful they gave us Dunkin’ Donuts, fruits, bagels and bread cereal. Everything you need. The location is right near a perfect subway to take you anywhere you need and 10 seconds from 3 parking areas. For the price, I would prefer this place over any major hotel or overpriced hotel. Amazing price for the location and quality of this hotel!"

"Location was great & affordable. They kept it clean despite how old the building was. Bed was kinda stiff but was great for naps and sleeping overnight. Great, affordable spot if you dont plan on spending much time in your room. Shower/bathrooms were small but kept very clean."

"I would recommend this place to stay in NYC. It is difficult to get a better deal. My boyfriend and I stayed in a private room. It was good enough. Common bathrooms and toilets were clean, but housekeeping could pay more attention to details and I think that it could be cleaned more often considering number of rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot. Also kitchen facilities are good if you need them."
