"Good hotel in terms of design and generally comfort, having a pool, fridges and coffee in the rooms, and free parking helps. But a bit further from the center of Aix walking than i would have liked. Nice staff."

"The hotel is well located, easy to find, and has convenient parking. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is excellent with a variety of foods. The building is a bit dated and as for the room, I couldn't get used to the toilet without a sink (lave-mains), but that's common in France."

"After a perfect refurbishment the hotel became a Mercure instead of Novotel. New, well kept rooms and beautiful common areas are topped up with a lovely breakfast room with great, well measured breakfast. I'm planning a new visit very soon."

"I dislike leaving negative reviews but I feel obliged to share my experience. The hotel is nice and well located. The staff are all very friendly and professional. However the hotel does not appear to have received any investment since it was built. All the fittings are very old and in a poor condition. The carpet in the room was disgusting and looks 30 years old or more and is worn and full of stains. The bathroom is also very old with everything being substandard, except the soap. The room had air conditioning but it's very old and we could not adjust the temperature. Quite simply it is not 4 star standard and I hope and trust that Accor will rectify this situation. I could report many damning things but that would not be fair. For one night it was fine, the price was low no doubt to reflect the standard of the hotel. There was a coach group of over 50 people so our restaurant experience was hindered by this and we had to wait a very long time for a table and the food was expensive for the standard."
