"Great accommodation in Aix-en-Provence at a reasonable price. The room was essential but it had everything it needed to have (air con above all). The receptionists were kind and polite."

"Tiny room, very clean, with all the basics. It was by far the cheapest room in Aix that day. The tiny room had what I needed. I opted for the 4th floor, which requires a lot of stair climbing but is quiet and has lovely sunlight in the afternoon."

"When checking in, we realized that we had messed up our booking and were scheduled to check in the following day. The lady at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful in correcting our booking so that we could check in. Had she not been so nice as to help us, we would’ve immediately contacted the booking platform to cancel the booking upon seeing the room. Good: 👍 As described above, staff friendliness (only reason this is a two star review!) 👍 Bed sheets were clean Bad: 👎The room was absolutely tiny. There was no space to leave the suitcase anywhere 👎The entire room was very run down and outdated 👎 Room floor and bathroom were not cleaned properly 👎The bed frame was completely moldy 👎There is no proper bathroom door, you hear everything 👎Poor noise insulation. You could hear everything in the hallway and from neighboring rooms For the rest, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Note that they were all taken with a wide angle lens as the room was so small, I couldn’t have captured anything otherwise."

"Our TGV train arrived in Aix an hour late, and the wonderful woman at the front desk did not bat an eye at having to stay late to check us in. She was very helpful with recommendations for the city. Unfortunately, as we had been traveling for 22 hours, we did not take any. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are intimate, but the price is incredibly reasonable for the convenient location and great air conditioning - if you are looking for a five-star hotel, you'll have to go pay for a five-star hotel. We had a great time and will stay here again when we return to Aix."

"Rude staff, tiny room that wasn’t in the best state (but clean, at least, hence the 2 stars instead of one). Bear in mind that you can’t even enter the hotel between 12 and 3 or late in the evening and if you turn up at 11:50 the hotel manager will not be there and will yell at you over the phone for bothering him. Also bear in mind that checkout is early (by 10:30) and there’s no proper luggage storage if you want to wander around Aix — you leave your suitcase in the lobby in full view of passers-by. Oh, and don’t get breakfast — there are plenty of good options nearby that are much cheaper and nicer. We took this hotel because the only similarly-priced options were outside the city center but you really get what you pay for - don’t stay here, because it’ll leave a nasty taste in your mouth. You’re better off getting an AirBnB or staying at the Ibis on the outskirts of Aix if you want cheap accommodation."
