"We booked a room in April for a June stay, but life happened, and we had to cancel. So, like responsible adults, we contacted this hotel month in advance to cancel. They reassured us—multiple times!—that our booking was canceled and we’d get our refund. Fast forward a few months more, and guess what? Still no refund. After three calls in two months, not only are we out of our money, but now the manager is threatening to show up at our address?! This is beyond outrageous. They’re unprofessional, dishonest, and frankly, scary. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to deal with thieves who might show up at your door."

"We stayed for one night and had a truly great experience. Super friendly hosts, very tasty dinner with local produce, nice room with comfortable bed. We felt very well taken care of. The hosts went the extra mile to accomodate us. We had to leave early the next day so the manager got up at 6am to make coffee for us and prepare a little breakfast to go for our train ride (TGV station is very close to the hotel). We can highly recommend this place!"

"Super cute hotel in a former tea factory. Quiet and close to everything. The proprietress is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and lovely. The only thing I didn't like were the stairs which are super steep and there is no lift. If you have a disability that makes stair climbing difficult give this one a pass otherwise I can only recommend it for a relaxing stay."

"Hotel Victor, located close to Aix en Provence train station is an amazing place to unwind and relax. The cozy hotel has 12 rooms with modern fittings, shower and WC and an amazing view of the lush countryside. They have a great courtyard with seating for an afternoon tea and chat. Forest trails and a mountain top are within walking distance. Nearest place to get food or essentials is Calais, to be reached by taxi or Uber."
