"AWFUL to deal with. We cancelled our booking through Wotif and they still charged us. They were aggressive and nasty in post issue correspondence. Shame on you and shame on Wotif"

"This is a gem in the center of Aix-En-Provence. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this old convent - especially because we got an amazing room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking an old church. Very convenient to walk everywhere and not noisy (despite being in the heart of everything). While it doesn’t have parking, they pointed us to a parking garage about a 5-minute walk away which was perfect. The breakfast was good too (though it does cost extra). My only small critique is that the hairdryer is really old and could be upgraded!"

"The location is fabulous, very walkable and rooms are quite nice, clean and modern. The bed is very comfortable. Parking overnight at Rotonde 25 euros is convenient but pricey. Bathtub is very nice. Rooms have large windows. When I checked in the gentleman was very professional, welcoming, and proficient. The next day however, I did not like the treatment from the blonde lady at reception. I did not appreciate when I returned to the hotel from being outside, the reception lady asked me which room I was in - I told her. She then asked what my name was. I asked her why she needed to know when I've informed her my room number. She said because people walk in and it's for your security, and she wasn't there at reception when I checked in. I thought this was odd because I don't want to be interrogated each time I return to the hotel when the staff changes. I want to feel welcome and comfortable for a stay I've paid for, not treated like some unwanted guest. That was my one gripe. Later, she was apologetic and she did treat me well."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel des Augustines, very clean & comfortable, and the location is perfect. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very spacious. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Hotel des Augustines (Aussie couple on holiday)"

"The hotel is in an ideal location and has a nice view out of the window. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room, however was extremely small, old and very worn out. The toilet lid was broken off, the connection of the split system of the air condition was covered with some pieces of tape and the carpet is definitely not helpful for people with allergies. The outside part of the air condition is extremely noisy (no matter whether the AC was turned off inside), so that one can't sleep with an open window. The inside part of the air condition was directed to the bed, which also does not feel very comfortable. Overall we might have had a lot of bad luck with the room. If one is more lucky than we were, then this hotel might still be a good choice in Aix en Provence."
