"Clear communication before booking, excellent service with responsiveness, no unpleasant surprises unlike some other well-known sites... We rented a villa in the Aix-en-Provence area for my wife's birthday and she was delighted with the location. A fantastic stay thanks to Homelly. We will definitely use their service again."

"This company is very deceptive. They put their listings on Airbnb and then direct people to communicate with them on homelly. Then they demand a higher price than Airbnb adding additional fees on top and claiming that the price on Airbnb is a mistake. I felt like I was being lured and tricked. Why would anyone want to book with them? What a horrible way to run a business."

"We stayed at Mas Des Pecheurs in July 2022. The house was amazing. Beautiful property that was exactly as described. It is clean, bright and you can tell that care has gone into the design and furnishings. The pool area is really what makes this house. The pool and pool house are brilliant. Loris at Homelly was our contact and he was great to deal with. Provided clear instructions on how everything works and was really responsive when I had any questions. It all went seamlessly and helped make it an incredible vacation. I would definitely rent that house and any house through Homelly again."

"Update 4, 30-10-2023: After in depth legal investigation by Visa of the (false and lack of) evidence provided by Homely, the verdict of Visa legal claim department is: Homelly has made a fraudulent attempt to charge you with 959EUR. There is no basis for Homelly to charge any damage at all. Visa has reversed full payment to me today! So, again, BE VERY CAREFULL, with Homelly as they have tried to fraude us: they tried making a business of dammages collection on my back. Next step: we will now reactivate our legal claim at the French justice, by providing them the full file that Visa claim department has made, and get them convicted for the fraudelent attempts they made, and get civil compensation. I'll come back once that is handled as well, but this can take some time, so bear with me ! ------------------------------ Even 1 star is too much for this fraudulent agency, BEWARE! Please beware: we have had an extremely bad experience with this agency. They are using deposit funds as a source of revenu. We stayed in a lovely house for 2 weeks. We returned the house in good state. However, we are chaged 959 EUR for dammages that we would have made to the property. 1) the damages are not our responsability. We have had these damages reviewed bu our legal advisory and they issued an official letter stating clearly: this is normal use and there are no damages explicitely made by you. For completeness of the review, the 3 claimed damages are: some additional scratches on the glass plate of an induction cooking hub, the pool alarm system that got detached from the wall (the pool repair guy stating himself to us that the glue detached due to the extreme heat at the time) and a shower door hinge with inadequate guiding. 2) 3 invoices are provided by Homelly to support their claim for the 3 claimed repairs by a 'professional repair service'. The 3 invoices totalling 684 EUR. However, Homelly took us 959 EUR!! No justification whatsoever, even after asking 5 times, for taking this additional 275 EUR out of our wallet! On top of that, 2 of the 3 invoices are from Homelly themselves. How convenient is this: to proof you have made costs, just write an invoice yourself!? No proof of purchase for most of the claims, even after asking 5 times! So: be very carefull when you deposit your trust in this company. Take your own preventive measures and do not rely on the honnesty of Homelly. Update 1: our independant legal advisor provided us a formal letter with their advise based on the evidence provided: none of the are our responsability and if any damage would be prevent it is normal wear. We provided this letter to Homelly: no reaction. Update 2: after clarifying by phone to Homelly that I'd rather pay for legal action than paying 1 EUR of dammage that I didn't make, they offered us to refund half of the pool alarm repair invoice as if to say that we're only 'half responsible'. But guess what: even 2 weeks later none of the money they took has been returned, not even for this 'half resposability' they affered! Update 3, na reactie Homelly: feel free to call me, just like you promissed each time... but never did. If you prefer, We communicate over the review, and I add the official legal advise letter, the invoices, the pictures to the review so people can see for themselves. It's in your hands."

"FRAUD!!! After our stay in a villa in the Provence, approximately €1000 was taken from our deposit without valid reason. They charge absurd amounts via self-made invoices (!) for normal traces of use. We have obtained legal advice and they have let us know by official letter that we are certainly not responsible for what Homelly claims. Unfortunately, Homelly refuses to answer my calls and emails. Save yourself the trouble and especially a lot of money: rent somewhere else!"
