"The house is not luxurious at all. Everything is dilapidated and dirty. The house is not maintained, the pool is dirty and not maintained. Many things are broken or very worn. The kitchen, the bathrooms, the dishes. The walls are stained. The pool smells of mud."

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house, just 10 minutes from the center of Aix-en-Provence. There were 15 of us, all very satisfied with the overall experience. The owner is very flexible with schedules, and his parents are lovely and very welcoming. The house is perfectly equipped, spacious, and clean. The garden is very well maintained. Thank you very much for everything, and I hope to see you soon!"

"Literally confirmed our booking and then told us that it wasn't available after we booked our flights. Then told us we should change our dates. Really rude host!"

"Direct booking for 12 people. Contract signed and payment made, text messages exchanged during the day to specify the arrival time (6 p.m. as agreed). A rental that starts at 6 p.m. isn't right, but the house wasn't ready ("there was a communication problem," Jean-Christian told me). No, someone just mismanages their reservations and exploits their parents to do the cleaning. In short, the rooms were ready at 11:30 p.m., the house took 24 hours to heat up, and the first night was 13°C in the bedrooms. I feel sorry for Jean-Christian's parents, who struggled to prepare the house (and refused our help, feeling uncomfortable because of their son's poor management: "Eat in peace, we'll take care of it"). The exterior rooms are damp, the paint is blistering. The oven doesn't work. The WiFi doesn't work. The dishwasher door is broken. It's dirty. The living room cabinet door is broken; we got it on our face while looking for towels... The barbecue isn't cleaned... And it costs €1,000 a night. A complete joke."

"We stayed the first week of August. Beautiful grounds, magnificent pool, and very well-maintained garden. However, the rest of the house is not up to scratch at all. Questionable cleanliness upon our arrival (dirt on the walls, cobwebs, etc.), damaged furniture (broken doors, cracked drawers, worn lounge chairs, etc.), a complete lack of equipment (only one fridge, few dishes, etc.), and no ventilation. The owners do the bare minimum and didn't even want to provide fans during the heat wave (they said, "We're hot too, and the temperature will drop anyway.") The Wi-Fi doesn't work well. There's no audio system for listening to music. Be careful, since priority access minimizes expenses, they only hire one housekeeper for the entire house. As a result, we got the house at 7:30 p.m. instead of 6:00 p.m. What a shame, because there's great potential, but ultimately, we recommend renting this house."
