"I've brought this man everything from nearly-destroyed leather dance shoes (LaDucas) to broken backpack straps to ripped jeans to shoes that needed to be dyed a completely different color. He's an absolute magician with prices out of a 1990s time capsule. Everything he touches is like new again, or better. I don't understand."

"Gonzalo is the most legit leather repair specialist in all of NYC. Especially for his price point + fast turn around and quality. Not the mention he is always polite and happy to see returning customers. After the long city shutdown and quarantine, I started to WFH so I didn't need shoes repaired when businesses re-opened. I asked him if he could restore a couple vintage belts and a vintage Coach handbag. They came out LIKE NEW! The commute from Brooklyn is WORTH IT. (Plus it's a great excuse to visit Rose & Joe's Bakery a few blocks down)."
