"This business, IMHO, deserves a way higher rating on Google reviews. I worked in plant nurseries for 3 years and this place is a traditional setup that offers far better value for 💰 than at a big box garden centre. The staff are knowledgeable and personable. The plants are cheaper, with more variety and in better shape. Way better selection of soil amendments like compost, mulch, etc. and they have lovely trees. Very nice pottery selection too. This will be our go to place from now on."

"Really helpful staff! Helped me choose the right soil for me containers, saving me money in the process, pick the right additives, *and* delivered it the same day for a very reasonable fee. I'm going to be seeing a lot of them over the growing season."

"First time here and it's fantastic! Was trying to find late summer veggies in NYC in Aug and John Verni junior pictured here had a whole bunch - everything I needed and more. A very friendly, helpful and charming man running this multi-generational family store that's been around long before Home Depot! Highly recommend."
