"Great cheap service for making copies, Richard is great. TERRIBLE service for helping people locked out/in. Was trapped inside a building, was told the price would "depend" on what needs to be done. When the locksmith came, he said it would be $380 to drill through the door, which I might've been fine with, though I preferred not to damage the door. In the end, we were able to pass a key underneath for the locksmith to easily unlock instead, but the locksmith refused to do that much unless we agreed to still pay the whole $380. If he still wanted to still be paid $20 or even $50, fine, but the whole $380? To use a key? We called 911 instead, got it done for free, no damage to the door. I feel lied to by either the company for telling me it'd "depend" on what needs to be done, or by the locksmith who tried to cheat me. One of them is a liar, idk who. Made a complaint but I don't think anything was done. They said they'd call me back, they never did."

"Very friendly and efficient service. I have used the Umbrella Locksmith several times. One of my keys didn’t fit and they fixed the issue straight away. The store is super is super easy to find and located right next to coffee shops if you are needing to wait or use restroom. The staff are super friendly. Definitely a go to for the local community."

"Went in to get a key cut for my old Mercedes, and the owner or the manager was quite adamant about cutting the key for me, stating that it’s not the original and it may not work, I stated that it’s fine for $14 I’m willing to take that chance, he said nope he won’t do it, even the guy who was cutting the key said he can have a look and the owner said no we’re not cutting the key. I don’t know if he had a bad day or didn’t like me for some reason mainly my color I’m thinking. I drove up the block to Abbey locksmith and got 2 keys cut that worked fine for the same $14. Now all my upper east side clients go there."
