"I don't understand how this guy has such a high rating. I dropped off a wool coat here about 2 years ago, came by the following week and it wasn't ready. I came back again another week or two later and it didn't fit my hips properly so we had to make adjustments again. I specifically remember having to come by this place *four* times in total until I got what I wanted. I paid $100 and the craftsmanship was mid at best, and lazy in some places at worst. I am sure they are going to respond to this comment arguing that it's not true, but just look at this picture of the sleeve- it speaks for itself."

"I had pleated dress trousers altered here for leg tapering/hem. Unfortunately, the alterations were done incorrectly, which created permanent bunching and destroyed the drape of the garment. When I raised concerns about the distortion, I was told this was "because they're pleated," which isn't accurate for properly altered pleated trousers. A second tailor confirmed the pants cannot be fixed as no fabric was left in the seams. When I requested a refund for the unsuccessful alteration, the situation became unnecessarily complicated (was told "we knew you'd be trouble" because I tried to use a visa gift card I won at a work conference lol). This may be a suitable option for simple, non-invasive alterations like basic hems or letting out seams where there's existing fabric. They are flexible and genuinely wanting to leave you happy. However, I cannot recommend this business for any work requiring understanding of garment design, structure, or style preservation, In my case for pleated trousers, tailored menswear, or anything beyond basic adjustments. If you have high-quality or designer garments that require structural alterations, or if you're looking to put trust in the tailor I'd strongly suggest finding someone who specializes in that specific type of clothing."

"Wedding dress alterations: I used Teodor Tailor to alter my wedding dress. He was quick to respond and set up an appointment. I needed the dress brought in, hemmed, and bustled which he did all three of. I had to go back in a couple times for additional alterations, but he did them at no extra charge. The dress ended up fitting extremely well."
