"They were nice and did a good job tailoring a suit I had, and were responsive over text. However, they charged me an unannounced rush fee on a jeans adjustment that they didn’t complete as I had originally asked them to. I left with mixed feelings about the service because of this aspect and it’s why I can’t rate them 5 stars. Your mileage may vary, though."

"Fredy is great! My husband and I have been going to him with garment repairs, hemming and custom asks for about a year now and he never disappoints. We’ve had him hem pants, shorten sleeves from our wool jackets, hem dresses, add long pockets to jeans, and most recently had him make a crib sheet of an assortment of baby blankets we were gifted and wanted to repurpose. It came out better than we could’ve hoped for."

"Freddy was great! I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed and altered pretty quickly and he was able to do it in just a few days. My dress turned out great. I didn’t love how it fit when I first got it from online but I couldn’t really figure out why. Freddy suggested shortening the straps and suddenly it fit perfectly and was so much more flattering. The work was high quality and reasonably priced. The straps had flutter sleeves attached to them and the skirt was scalloped but he was able to work around those challenges. At the wedding the other bridesmaids kept making comments about how my dress fit better than theirs. I was a little hesitant at first because this business is located inside of a regular apartment building but he exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be using him again!"

"Told my alterations would be ready Tuesday. When I try to pick them up, there are no available appointments for two days. I've picked up before at the front door. I don't see why I should have to wait two days to pick up only. Definitely something to keep in mind if you use Freddy. You'll be waiting a while and he doesn't respond to your text messages. He never answers his phone. I won't use again. - Update : Here are some photos of how my jacket sleeves were shortened. I specifically asked Freddy to shorten from the shoulders. He did not and even took off two buttons. You can see how poorly the hand stitching and pressing is done. I had the jacket repaired down the street by an outstanding tailor called • Tailoress Atelier • I would recommend going here if you have expensive garments. It is right down the street and much more professional and skilled. This jacket cost 750$ and was almost ruined by this tailor. The first pictures are of Freddy's tailoring and the second are the repairs. See for yourself."
