"As someone who has lived in Chinatown their whole life, I’m so glad there is finally an Asian-owned and Asian-operated store! In recent years, many small businesses have come to Chinatown for the cheap rent, especially in the mall under the bridge and the “Dimes Square”. Most of them paid no respect to the community they are in, but not Superette. I discovered them through their annual sale event, and I like that they donated a portion of the profits to a Chinatown charity. In terms of selection, it’s fantastic, and the prices are definitely below market value (compared to places like The RealReal). I’ve been getting the best archival Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake pieces from the store. They have such a wide variety of items. I’ve heard that many people who sell at the Manhattan Vintage Show and Current Affair are part of the store too which makes sense given the quality. Have no idea why some of the previous comments said the store is not for certain skin color?? I have brought friends of all kinds of tone and they show nothing but warmth and respect!! people nowadays are too sensitive lol Love you guys 🩷🩷🩷🩷"

"Superette is one of the best vintage shops I’ve been to in NYC. There is a huge range of designer and truly unique vintage pieces—usually there is some trade off between quality and quantity of selection at places like this but I genuinely feel like I could have browsed for hours and kept finding gems. The owner Whitney was lovely and very helpful too!! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the Dimes Square/LES/Chinatown area!"

"I hesitate to write this as I am scared once people find out about this gem it will be less for my closet…HOWEVER, this is by far THE absolute BEST vintage boutique of any city (Paris, Istanbul, London) that I have found. The most rare and hard to find items with a competitive price. All my favorite pieces are sourced from this shop…ALL. I could spend all day in this place trying on clothes. The staff are knowledgeable, unpretentious, helpful and take the time for each and every customer. It is the rarest of combinations in NYC to find all of these in unison. I love this shop and I find my best afternoons are spent here. Huge inventory that rotates regularly. Such a remarkable and magical place."
