"I needed a pair of shoes for a wedding later in the day so I popped into Steve Madden. The sales associates greeted me right away and asked me if I needed help finding anything (I did). I showed her a picture of my dress and she helped me find the perfect pair of shoes. Such a nice and clean store, very well managed, would definitely return!"

"I never write but on this occasion I took the time to do so since the experience in this store was horrible. My wife and I ordered a pair of sandals, size 7, and we paid for them before leaving. My wife checked the boxes and surprise, one was missing. The saleswoman took a sandal and put it in the box, saying that it was the last pair. We went home and when we checked again we realized that she had put in a size 6 sandal. We returned the next day and the manager as well as the saleswoman treated us contemptuously, blaming us and treating us very badly. They did not even apologize. Translate a conversation"

"Nice selection of boots but I have no idea how to get a pair to try on. Could use a commissioned sales person-greet everyone and say LMK if you need a pair to try on. I'd sell a ton if I worked there."

"Great customer service. The gentleman who assisted me had amazing people skills and knew his inventory! Wish I remember his name. I purchased online and the size was too large and he knew exactly what size I needed in that style. He knew better than me and I’m a shoe fashionista. Apparently their sizing is a bit peculiar as the reviews suggested you order up a size but this shoe runs big. Regardless I love my shoes, so cute! I bought another pair in another store and can’t wait to wear them both. It’s a nice store with lots of space and a great selection plus they had the size I needed only at this location. They work super hard and are fast, NYC speed. It’s crowded area but that’s what it is… It’s great they stay open later as well. NYC is great for shopping that’s a given. Check it out they have something for everyone and I love the pretty water proof shopping bags."
