"Hi! I'm a long time fan (used to go to chickies and love the selection at sorbaras) I don't normally write reviews, but this last time had an unfortunate customer service experience. I was in with my boyfriend ( person of color) who sat around for 30 minutes while the shopkeepers asked every other person in the store ( all white) if they wanted water besides him. When I mentioned this to the shopkeeper, instead of apologizing she simply said " oh we're slammed". Sad to say we will not be coming back, and hope they'll be able to address this in the future :("

"Best vintage in Brooklyn by far. I’ve been shopping here since before it was SORBARA’s at the old location chickees vintage. Best spot for Levi’s and special thoughtfully curated, mostly rare designer pieces. Smells so insanely good and love how the staff is never over bearing allowing me to shop freely in peace. I always leave with a treasure."

"I drive down from southern Rhode Island every six weeks or so and shop for myself at the men’s store and for my wife at women’s store. Caroline is genuinely an outstanding shopkeep, calming presence, impeccably dressed and she never makes you feel rushed. Chickee’s is one of those rare places that creates a world and Kathleen’s world is one in which buying into feels like a no-brainer. The vintage, while some of the best and most curated I’ve ever seen, is beside the point. The tags on all of the garments, little paint stains on the sweaters and the scuffs on the shoes tell a story and it’s easy to see these items trouncing through Capri in the 80’s or going to work at Condé in the early 90’s. Last thing I’ll add is that good vintage for a guy my size (6’1” 210lbs) is really hard to come by and they do an outstanding job of making sure there’s sizing that serves everyone. The web shop is just the tip of the iceberg, you need to get to the stores! Thank you, Kathleen and Caroline. The shop is truly outstanding."

"Oh my dear Chickee's is my haven. As a an intentional shopper who loves designer pieces that are timeless and chic this is my go-to spot. I visit the boutique on average every other week to scout the inventory and commit to a purchase (or more) 1x a month or every other. The team/associates are an incredible help but never overstep or feel like they are selling you. Not to mention their style is always on-point. Highly recommend."

"I LOVE Chickee’s. I’ve never been to a vintage store that is so well curated with so many timeless pieces. The overall vibe of the store is effortlessly chic and it’s represented in the clothing and the style of the staff. The quality of the designer pieces are practically pristine and worth the investment. I love the constant flow of new inventory and the uniqueness of all the pieces in the store."
