"This store gets extremely hectic on weekends — the staff seem overwhelmed and it really shows in their attitude. During my last visit, I was wrongly accused of stealing sunglasses after I simply put my own pair back into my bag while trying on theirs. They claimed I had taken multiple pairs, which was completely absurd. Even after I showed them my sunglasses, there was barely an apology — just attitude, as if I was overreacting. I still ended up buying the one pair I had tried on, but the experience left a bad taste. Sadly, after being a loyal customer for years, I don’t think I’ll be coming back."

"I shopped for shoes for a wedding on the website last year and was really stressed out about getting the shoes in time (especially as a bridesmaid) and they were very quick to respond and super helpful which helped me SO MUCH. Today I visited the brick and mortar shop and I have to say the staff was once again so helpful and kind. I love the selection and will be coming back next time I'm in NYC. Anna is super sweet and it was really nice chatting with her for a minute. Please give her a raise lol. Wishing her the best!"

"This store is total chaos on the weekends- employees seem extremely stressed out/rude and to top it off I was accused of stealing sunglasses when I put MY own sunglasses away into my purse while trying on their glasses. I was told that I stole MULTIPLE pairs of glasses which is absolutely ridiculous. I showed them MY glasses and there was little to no apology- mostly attitude that I was upset by the accusation. I purchased the one pair I tried on and left- I won’t be returning. Disappointed because I’ve literally shopped here for years."

"I like the selection here, a lot of the brands are ones I find comfortable and cute. They have fun socks, I picked up some sparkly ones with lighting bolts and got a great price on red jelly shoes. The ballet flats here are really great brands like camper, Melissa’s, and Jeffery Campbell. Staff are kind and I like that they let you make your choice and don’t overwhelm you."

"Trendy selection but cheap quality in some of these shoes. I was on the fence about a pair because they looked cute but longevity was questionable (after seeing some of these other reviews, they probably won’t last). I asked what the return policy was before leaving for this reason. They told me I could return it within 7 days. When I decided to try to return them and came back within that period however they refused to accept the return because it was a sale item and those sales were apparently final. This was not what I was told and I almost was never given a receipt in the first place. This was never verbalized to me and no one wanted to give a courtesy given this lack of clarity. I’m disappointed and left with a pair of shoes I didn’t want after making a useless trip there. You can’t return sale items for store credit. Also whenever I go it feels like they’re going into the back for something just when you need them.. not even getting anything for a customer. I understand this is store policy but if you have a customer that was wronged, there should be some leniency. At the very least, store credit for an unused item returned within 6 days. This is a basic customer service recommendation. This really left a bad taste and I won’t be returning even though I live locally. I would rather shop online.."
