"I purchased a 1lb box of assorted chocolates. I bought it as a hostess gift for Thanksgiving. Our host had lived on the west coast for years and was ecstatic. Apparently, she did not know there is a store in Manhattan. She will be visiting!"

"Amazing experience at See’s Candies! The shop is welcoming and beautifully arranged, and the chocolates are absolutely delicious — especially the Café Hazelnut Truffle, which became my favorite. The staff were very kind and helpful, making the visit even better. Definitely a place worth coming back to!"

"Disappointing and Rancid Maple Cashew Brittle I was really looking forward to trying the Maple Cashew Brittle when I walked into this See’s Candies location, but the batch I received tasted completely off. The cashews had a stale, old-oil flavor that made the entire brittle taste rancid. It wasn’t a freshness issue you could overlook, every piece had that same unpleasant, oxidized nut taste. For a brand that usually delivers great quality, this was a big letdown. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish the box and won’t be purchasing this flavor again unless the nut quality improves."

"Got a birthday gift sent to me. The box was open and the candy was lose in the box outside the packaging. Sent a note to customer service. Was not looking for more candy but a credit. All they told me was that is what delivered. Customer service si dead these days. I would give no stars if possible"

"If you want the real See’s Candies experience, skip this place. This isn’t a true See’s store – it’s a licensee location cashing in on the brand name. Prices are inflated way beyond what you’d pay on the official See’s website, and in fact, it would be cheaper to have the candy delivered to your door than to buy here. I paid almost $10 for just four pieces of chocolate – absolutely ridiculous. If this was inside an airport where high markups are expected, maybe it would make sense – but this is just a random storefront passing costs onto customers. The disappointment doesn’t stop there. See’s is famous for giving you a sample – it’s part of the tradition. Here? Forget it. No sample, no charm, nothing. Your “shopping bag” is literally a plain white Uline bag with zero branding. Selection is limited and underwhelming, like they’re doing the bare minimum to justify the markup. Bottom line: beware. This is not the See’s you know and love. Don’t waste your money here. Order online or go to a real corporate See’s store – you’ll get better service, real packaging, fair pricing, and the experience that made See’s legendary."
