"I mean incredible service. They go above and beyond. They did an extra service for no charge. Their tailoring and dry cleaning are exceptional. I’ve never experienced this level of service. You know how cleaners can be a bit iffy, breaking your buttons, losing your things, or taking longer than they said they would? Not here. Since I was a kid, I’ve been looking for a good cleaners in Brooklyn, and I’ve finally found it. Sammy’s!!!"

"Really friendly staff. As a semi-short king they help with a lot of my alterations -- both in terms of helping shirts get shorter and pants more tappered. Would recommend!"

"Really nice and accommodating staff. they got a 2 year old drink stain out of my military cotton suit - to be fair it wasn’t wine, and i had only worn the suit a couple times over those two years. they showed attention to detail by clarifying how they’d wash my shirts as to avoid damaging buttons/delicate fabrics"

"Avoid!!!! plenty of other options in the area!!!! Especially if you are a girl - place is a huge ripoff! They will highball with random prices. I went to get my dress tailored for a wedding where I was a bridesmaid. I went in and they gave an extremely high price for hemming almost 200$ and then pushed me to pay cash to lower the price. After paying that extremely high price for only hemming, I wore the dress and there was still pins at the bottom and the dress was not hemmed...Imagine walking down aisle at an outdoor wedding with an unhemmed dress. I brought it back to the shop, tried it on, and they recognized that only the FRONT was hemmed. The side and back was still dragging on the floor. Instead of offering to finish the job that I paid a lot for or simply offering a refund. They tried to charge me another $100 to “fix” it. Stating it was my fault for not recognizing it earlier. They also tried to say that the pins were references but not needed for hemming, and still stood by that when realizing the dress needed further hemming work. Will not be returning for any future tailoring and will take dry cleaning elsewhere. Will follow up with BBB as well."
