"I spent an afternoon poking around hardware stores and plant stores looking for a grow light and either they didn't have any or they didn't seem to know what it was. Off a whim I decided to go to east village and stumbled on this place! They had exactly what I needed, for a reasonable price. Glad to not have had to turn to amazon- I'll probably be back for some of their pots/trays sometime."

"Just moved into the block and have been using Saifee for all my planting needs with QUALITY but also CHEAP. Also even bought the materials needed to make a beautiful floating shelf. The staff is always available and very accessible. Just ask them any question and they'll legit direct you to exactly everything you need. Can't re-emphasize the CHEAP aspect too enough, it's very AFFORDABLE."

"Huge array of very fairly priced plants, also some more pothos inside. A decent selection of larger plants like corn plants, fiddle leafs and monsteras. More impressive, they have every single plant need you can think of: soil, peat moss, sand, fertilizer, water cans, spray bottles, tons of pots all sizes/types, pebbles, garden gloves, terrariums, everything! They have a bunch of macrame hangers starting at $8, and pebbles starting at $4. Lots of items were cheaper than what you’d pay on Amazon and comparable to even some discount stores in Brooklyn. Got a beautiful Japanese blue glaze 6” pot for $12, amazing! Checkout was fast as easy. Several staff available for assistance. Wished I lived closer, what a pleasant surprise"

"Great easy village hardware shop. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and help you to decide based on your needs. Two girls in front of me were asking about what plants live on low sunlight conditions. The clerk was very patient with their questions. And helped them to choose the best plant. They have a huge selection of everything! And great selection of planters"
