"S & V Hardware is a great neighborhood store.  Mo and all of the other team members are friendly and welcoming, and most importantly, they know how to help you solve whatever hardware-related problem that you arrived with. They have a great inventory with things that may be hard to find, or things that you can kind of describe but you don't know what it's called. It also has an intangible old-school neighborhood hardware store feel, which for me brings back great memories of going to the hardware store in my small hometown with my Dad when I was young. Five stars, and well deserved."

"Very attentive, experienced, and professional personnel. Good quality items. I did not know what items to buy to fix a broken pipe, but they helped me find the right items and even explained to me how to do it. Great job guys. Thank you! I definitely recommend this hardware store to anyone."

"Brought in a lamp for rewiring - the guy there is a cheat! He just changed the external wire and left all the old wiring inside the rest of the lamp, reconnected everything together very badly, mangled the lamp and overcharged us on top! So my electrician spent his time trying to get it to work and in addition to paying for his time, I had to replace the dimmer (issues caused by defective wiring in the lamp). Thinking of reporting them to small business bureau. This place is a fraud! Update - just spoke to them. They lied that they told my husband that they weren't going to rewire to the light sockets (he said they never said that) and that they spent 4 hours on "that thing" - takes 5 minutes to disassemble the lamp! Fraudsters and rude on top of that! His comment on the phone - "why didn't you do it yourself"! I should have tried - would have saved $140 in their "services" plus the time I paid the electrician plus the cost of a new dimmer!! Avoid at all cost!!! Pic below is the lamp after their “rewiring” job… shame!"

"S& V True Value Hardware is one of those wonderful stores that has everything you might possibly need for your apartment. They also have a dedicated team of knowledgeable employees and a designated person who makes keys!"

"I was just walking by and stumbled upon this gem! They have everything you need and nothing you don't. Attentive staff that at first blush knew their stuff. Good prices. Can't wait to get back and discover more this hardware store has to offer, looks like I will be checking a lot of boxes off on my home improvement list!"
