"I’m really confused why there’s good reviews here. I live in the neighborhood and this place is constantly empty. The security here is ridiculous, they have essentially a body guard that unlocks the door when you walk up. My boyfriend and I walked in and there were 10 employees standing around that barely paid attention to us. We felt completely unwelcome and it was likely due to us coming in with work out clothes (it’s Saturday morning). We both work in corporate (advertising & pharma in our mid 30s) and was looking for a blazer for my boyfriend, but the looks we got from their team made the experience horrible. I understand they’re looking for a certain clientele, but it’s free to be nice to customers that were looking to invest in a nice jacket."

"When the city went up up in flames after George Floydd was killed, Rothman’s Union Square store was trashed. The owners announced that they supported the people who were rioting since they understood why they were so upset. I was profoundly impressed that business owners who had just suffered a major disruption of their business could be so sympathetic. And I began to shop in their stores. Today, Lacy was incredibly helpful as I tried on some different clothing items. Their Union Square store is a very classy place to shop and between their dedicated staff and their beautiful clothing , you’ll walk out feeling like you have added a great deal of class to your wardrobe."
