"My partner and I decided to make a late-night trip to this Romantic Depot - our first time going to this location in Queens - and had no idea we would have such a great time. It’s easy for me to feel a little awkward in adult stores, but that feeling never had a chance to surface because right when we stepped through the door, Stephen and Gina offered us a friendly, unforced greeting, asked us if this was our first time in the store, and then offered their expertise and opinions on anything we had any questions or concerns about. The customer service throughout our entire time there was on a whole other level than any I’ve experienced, striking the absolute perfect balance between giving us space to explore on our own and being immediately available for insights into their products’ materials, durability, and reviews from other customers. Nearly everything in the store had some sort of discount, which we wholeheartedly took advantage of. The building is cool, too, set off on its own little island in the urban landscape, making the experience feel even more private and dare I say luxe, compared to other options here in NYC that tend to be on the seedier side. I forgot to ask about the 1-hour delivery mentioned on their website, but holy cow what a great service to offer if you’re strapped for time or prefer to stay home (in which case you’d miss the awesome staff and the customer experience we had!). Completely surprised to have had such a great experience. Stephen and Gina, you two are the bomb! Thanks for taking care of us tonight!!"
