"This place is a gem and the last of the old New York style of a truly great business! Bob is such a cool guy and a character on top of that :-) They very quickly repaired our beautiful old coffee table, and it was incredibly reasonable as well as high craftsmanship. I highly recommend this place and hope that it never closes as New York needs more places like this."

"Excellent service! I've had two pieces of furniture restored by Bob. If you are reading this review because you are searching for the best spot to have your valuable piece restored, then you have found it. Bob cares a lot about the quality and integrity of his work and he offers great value for his services. The fast turnaround time is also a huge plus! Thank you."

"I had an antique chair with a broken leg in need of repair and so I looked around at a few furniture restoration shops to try to get a sense of the price. Bob was the only owner I asked who said he couldn’t give me a quote over the phone, because he needed to look at it himself. I went in with some trepidation, but when we started talking prices, I knew I couldn’t have picked a better place. This was absolutely the lowest quote I got. Bob is an experienced craftsman and a straight shooter, who is willing to offer a more than fair price for top tier work. The chair’s leg went in with some pretty nasty splintering on either side of the break. It came back looking good as new—I even had to ask them to help me find the spot. Afterwards, they showed me pictures of their process for fixing it, and the metal support bar they had put in place to prevent any further breaks. I couldn’t be happier. If you have an antique or piece of furniture in need of repair, bring it here."

"Bob may not be warm and fuzzy but his work is amazing and he stands by everything he does. I had him restore my grandmother's cedar chest which had been stored in a basement for 40 years. I showed him pictures and he gave me what I thought was a really fair price considering the amount of work it required. The day we lifted it to carry it to him, the sides fell apart. Bob didn't even flinch and restored it beautifully. I highly recommend him and totally trust him. Im brining in a chair tomorrow that needs refinishing and reupolstering will keep you posted!"
