"I am a big fan of this rainbow. Today, when I went shopping to check the shoes on the shoe rack, the doorman was very racist. He walked over and said to me, "You can't read, can't read English." Here, it says shoes on the shoe rack that cannot be touched. Which note is very small? Who would notice that note? Even if I accidentally touched it, he shouldn't speak to me in such a rude, impolite, and discriminatory manner."

"This store is very unprofessional! They always open late, they have no room to move around and the workers are careless."

"this location was getting better slightly once they got new owners, but the way I was followed around in the store was absolutely ridiculous. I'm shopping through racks in every minute an employee will come and stand very close fake working just shuffle the hangers and stare at me creating a very harassing and hostile shopping experience. also they are taking two piece sets and put them on clearance but when you buy the pieces separately, they cost more than the price tag of the set together which is fraudulent and misleading. There's too many other rainbows in Brooklyn to deal with this and I won't be back."

"I love Rainbow stores for clothing and costume jewelry selection, but I HATE the security guards at the front. I’m sure they don’t get paid enough to be rude to customers especially because they are the first point of contact as you enter the store. I came in the other day with my husband and baby (in a stroller). The security guard watched as I pulled clothes off buffet racks to show my husband because I wanted his opinion. Not once did my husband leave the front of the store, and he stood by the door that they do not use. As I continued to browse the shopping selections, I overhear my husband asking someone to leave him alone. I barely even got halfway through the first floor before I had to turn around and see what the commotion was about. I thought it was a random shopper harassing my husband but noooooooo, it was the security guard. He was complaining that my husband was standing in then front of the store blocking the entrance (which he was not) and that my husband had to walk through the store with the stroller. First of all, anyone who has ever shopped at this location knows that those ales are super tight and you can barely even walk through let alone fit a stroller through. The security guard kept going on about him doing his job and how he wasn’t allowed to let my husband stand there and wait for me, as multiple ppl walked in and out of the store with large bags and backpacks. Anyone could’ve been stealing but he insisted on harassing my husband. I had to ask him who he got his orders form and he said that the company he worked for made him do that. I asked him several times to call his manager or leave us alone and he said “I’m just like you” while pointing to his arm. I insinuated that to mean that because we are all black we must agree with what he’s doing. I told him skin color and race had nothing to do with him being wrong so he could either let me shop or call his manager. He was the only one causing a scene and it was very distasteful to say the least. MTA security doesn’t even go that hard, and they actually have stuff to secure."
