"I’m sorry but they don’t answer the phone, they yell at their customers, they tell you things will get done in 3 days meanwhile it takes a whole month. So much gaslighting!!!! Such a frustrating experience all around it’s wild"

"After dropping my shoes off over the summer, waiting a few months before coming in to find out they hadn't even been looked at, being given the runaround on 3 separate occasions before I finally just wanted my shoes back, to then be begged to come back a 4th time later that day, only to not be offered a discount or budge on the price for all that time. To add insult to injury, NOT have done the job well AT ALL, despite her boasting how she "did a good job". I wore the shoes one day after finally bringing them home and they're still falling apart. I will happily take my business to a cobbler who actually cares about their craft. I think it's time to retire, Stella. That, or get some much needed help for whatever it is you're going through personally."

"They’re amazing. They always do a great job. If it wasn’t for the low stars due to store hours they would have a 5 stars. Unfortunately, they had a rough year with personal family issues and that’s why the hour of operation was unpredictable. It must be frustrating for customers however is a lot more frustrating and depressing for the family going through a loss. Family comes first, they’re still grieving and trying their best to keep their customers happy. They sure deserve more than five stars. They fix shoes, purses, clothes, you name it, they make the old new. They are honest hard working people. God Bless them 🙏"

"Came here and it was closed. Even though they have a sign on the door saying they will be open early September. While I write this review, 2 other patrons are peeking in the window. One man stated he came from Brooklyn and actually spoke to the woman owner, and she indicated the store would be open the week of September 3rd. I understand the owner had a personal family reason for the original closing. However, it is disconcerting for customers to arrive according to the stated time on the outside of the store and store is locked up. Some will say, you should have called before going. But if you live in the city, you’ll know that a lot of businesses here don't answer the phone even if they are open, when they are busy. Very disappointed possible new customer."

"Just got my boots back and they look amazing! I just needed new sliders on my zippers that were broken or ripped off on old boots. My first time ever repairing a shoe/boot. I thought it would cost an arm and a leg just to get a new slider but to my surprise it was $10 each zipper. That is a very reasonable price and they were straight to the point when I came in with the boots. The place is small but they get to work and r very organized. So u will basically be in and out with them. I have a before and after photo. Amazing job! They r a life saver and ill be sure to be back with any future shoe repairs"
