"Came here to buy some stuff for my swim class. Although the selection was lacking, they had the essential. The staff was also very helpful in figuring out the IDNYC discount and offering me other discount options."

"Nothing worse than a staff that couldn't care less. Trying to make a purchase of an item that was locked so it was a high end purchase and the girl behind the desk was too busy to unlock it then a "sales person" came out from the back and fixed his hair in the mirror and when I asked him to unlock it he had better things to do. Finally the girl with the key stopped folding things and sauntered over to me like she was really put out to have to help a customer. Lot's of other sporting goods stores in the neighborhood with friendly helpful sales people. I won't be back."

"I like the Model's Sporting Store at this location better. The staff is usually a young staff. They are very friendly,and are always ready to help the customer locate the item they are looking for. I recently visited the store looking for a set of kettle bell's,and they have a bigger and better selection."

"The thing that got me there was a jumping rope that split while I was training during some under cero degrees climate conditions. I went there and got a new one made out of leather and the thing was priced 15$ but when I got to the cashier it was just 6$ so I love this shop. Really good for discount sporting goods. Not so great shoe selection specially for performance running kind. But if you are looking to be good to go on a training set and save some dollars this is the place. Also the clothes were not bad looking for the price."

"This store has a big variety of t-shirts. If you are looking for dry fit shirts this is the place to go. Staff nice and helpful."
