"I took a few pieces to Marta’s Tailoring to get them altered for a better fit, but unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. When I picked up my clothes, I noticed that some of them had holes that weren’t there before. The stitching was incredibly sloppy, and the alterations were so poorly done that the pieces looked completely butchered. I originally brought them in just for minor adjustments—there was nothing structurally wrong with them—but I ended up having to get rid of them altogether. I lost more money than anything because of this. I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of work."

"I was referred to Marta’s after my regular tailor was not able to hem my leather coat which was too long. I told her I needed it within a week. The day of, when I came to pick it up, she was still working on it and I could not wait around. So she offered to drop it off to me for the inconvenience, and she came through! Leather jacket was hemmed perfectly."

"I do not recommend this place, I find that it's seamstress although sweet is unorganized, lacks communication skills and does not value customer's time. I dropped off a leather jacket to have repaired as well as lengthen the sleeves. I was quoted $55 for the alterations which were fair and was to be completed by the following week. She stated that I could pay upon pickup, and I was given a ticket. I called the day of to confirm pickup and that's where the issue arises. She could not recall what I dropped off even with providing the ticket number. Then asked if I could send her a picture of my jacket. I was initially upset but I decided to give her a second chance. She asked for additional time and I gave it to her. I called the following week on an update, and she still had not worked on my jacket. By then I was fed up and canceled my alterations. I would have her respected her business if she would have reached out and stated that she needed additional time. Whereas, having to call constantly and given the runaround. Do not take on more work if you know you could not deliver on time..."

"Marta came through in a BIG way for my bridal top and skirt! Not only was it short notice but I needed her to hem and resize my skirt along with adding a zipper to my nightmare of a top from David's Bridal. Thank you soooo much!!! I received many compliments on my wedding day!🌺💐"

"Marta has tailored many of my suits and trousers to ensure that they fit me perfectly. She recently altered a sexy dress for my girlfriend and even after the first fitting, nothing escaped her eye for detail. She did a second fitting and made spot alterations at no additional charge to ensure that the dress fit like a second skin on her. I discovered that she's added a line of custom face masks tailored to one's tastes to make a fashion statement out of a necessity, for those that want to look stylish during the COVID-19 pandemic. Marta strives for 100% customer satisfaction, and she prices her work very reasonably! Fine quality service and attentive customer service. I recommend her, 5 stars all the way."
