"I had a truly disappointing experience at Marina clothing store at 2715 Coney Island Ave while searching for a mother-of-the-bride dress for my daughter’s upcoming wedding. Upon entering, I was greeted by a salesperson who remained seated behind the counter, eating and speaking with her mouth full. She asked why I was there and immediately demanded to know if I was ready to commit to buying a dress — without showing me a single option. I explained that the wedding is still a few months away and I’m exploring styles before making a decision. Her response? That she wouldn’t “waste her time” helping me try on dresses I wasn’t going to buy…. I left feeling shocked and disrespected. I will never return to this store and would strongly advise others to avoid it. Shopping for a special occasion should be met with professionalism and courtesy — this was the exact opposite."

"My mother and I have gone to Marina multiple times. She has a huge selection of dresses and sizes for all different occasions. She is kind and patient. She knows her store and knows what would look good on her customers. It is a pleasure shopping at Marina’s. I’m always able to find what I need and leave happy.
