"Discovered Lingo during a visit to NYC from Boston and will never miss it again! The clothes are interesting and well made - I left with four pieces that perfectly compliment my body and style. I could not wait to wear them out. Shih, the owner, is fabulous - offering advice and fashion reccomendstions that just hit right. I felt so comfortable and cared for as I made my selections. "I have been buying clothes at Lingo for many years and always come back because the choices the store has combined with the expertise of the owner in advising you what will work best for your body type and taste are truly unique. The choices are also great for women at all age ranges. I am a physician and professional woman going to many conferences and need clothes that can be all at the same time - professionally looking, elegant, as well as casual, comfortable, and yet easy to take care of. I feel great wearing clothes from Lingo and always get many compliments. On top, all the clothes I have bought from Lingo were such good quality that they lasted for a long time. If you look for unique and exceptional merchandise with outstanding customer care, look no further. Just be aware that Lingo has moved recently from Chelsea to 229 Mott Street, and the construction in front of the store makes it currently not so easy to find."

"For me there is only one place in NYC worth shopping at. In fact I would consider a trip there just to visit Lingo. There is no shop I know that has such a singular, stylish and ethical collection. The owner is extremely genuine and has an eye for what fits you and what doesn't. I can warmly recommend it. You will come out looking more stylish than you ever have. And you'll want to go back for more."
