"Stopped by today for some chocolate. The owner was so wonderful and friendly. She spoke of her family history with the place and how she as a young girl wasn’t a massive beneficiary of the family owning a chocolate shop as her parents didn’t bring much chocolate home. She was so sweet and personable and I appreciated the warm energy. That all said, loved the wide varying selection and have only begun to sample my purchase. The dark chocolate marzipan is phenomenal. I can’t wait to treat myself a piece or two every night. Thanks so much again!!."

"Lee Sim is a Jersey City institution. They have been serving outstanding chocolate to this community since 1939. How have they stayed in business this long? Try one piece of their chocolate and you will understand. The milk chocolate is rich and creamy. The dark chocolate is smooth and not at all bitter. If you're a 95%+ cocoa person, it might not be the dark chocolate for you, but people who like a more traditional dark chocolate will be very happy. The staff is very kind and helpful. They are knowledgeable about their products and their business. Definitely go and enjoy this piece of Jersey City history!"

"I grew up in New Jersey, and Lee Sims Chocolates were a family favorite at Easter, and for any special occasion. I try to get there whenever I visit, but I’ve also ordered online and had it shipped to Florida multiple times. They NEVER disappoint. It truly is one of my favorite treats, even after many decades. When shipping, I keep my order simple and get my favorite nonpareils, and the “break-up.” Even just their plain milk chocolate that they use to create their beautiful edible art is fantastic. Thank you Lee Sims, and please don’t ever go out of business !!! 🤞🏻"
