"I was in the store last Thursday and tried on several dresses and a coat. I purchased the coat and dress and took the dress with as I knew it would fit in my suitcase. I was given a receipt after I paid and then was asked for an additional $30 for shipping as they needed to insure the coat (thought it was strange after the fact). I asked when it would ship and was told the next day. Fast forward one week to today when I tracked it and it shows not in Fed Ex system. I called the store and have been told there were Jewish holidays and so it didn’t ship. I asked that it be shipped today and was told a whole story about how they’ve called Fed Ex so far three times today and no response or pick up. I asked if the box could be dropped at a Fed Ex location and was told no. I’m a very unhappy customer. Had I known that it wasn’t shipping last Fri, or even this past Monday I never would have bought it. Or I would have and shipped it myself. The customer service for your store is less than par and if the box has not shipped by tomorrow, I will be contacting American Express and start a claim. This is not good. UPDATE to REVIEW!!! I just heard from David (owners son) who called me to hear what happened and make it right. I told him how much I appreciated his call and wanting to understand what happened. He venmo'd me the shipping cost and assured me that the coat has been sent and I will receive it next Monday. All in all this situation has been worked out and I appreciated the call."

"Updated 5-Star Review: I had a bit of a rough start with my order from La Mode Royale, as there was some miscommunication about when my items would be shipped. At first, I had trouble getting updates and was feeling a bit frustrated. However, Daniel went above and beyond to turn things around. He was incredibly helpful with my return and kept me informed every step of the way when there were delays. The staff was really kind and apologetic, and they worked hard to make sure everything was resolved. While my initial experience wasn’t perfect, the way they handled the situation has completely changed my opinion. I’m grateful for their dedication to great customer service and will definitely be back to shop at La Mode Royale when I’m next in NYC. Definitely a 5-star experience now! ★☆☆☆☆ La Mode Royale NYC: Disappointing and Unprofessional I visited La Mode Royale on July 11 while in NYC from Baltimore and purchased two dresses and a handbag. Since I was traveling, a salesperson offered to ship the items and gave me a FedEx label—but the tracking number never worked. I followed up multiple times by text and was given vague promises. Still no tracking number. Still no package. I even emailed the store directly on July 23. As of July 26, I’ve heard nothing. Out of respect, I’m not naming the individual, (though she really does NOT deserve my respect), but this was a complete failure in service and communication. I’ve disputed the charge with my credit card. If the package ever arrives, it’s going right back. Support boutiques that actually value their customers—this one doesn’t! ."

"They were unbelievably nice to my wife in helping her get a dress for our granddaughter's upcoming wedding....they sure know their inventory.....also had my wife try on a beautiful red coat that we just had to purchase....saved us so much time by not having to shop elsewhere....made my wife feel like a queen ..."

"Wonderful boutique with an amazing selection. Very helpful and friendly staff. They helped me pick out an awesome jacket for my girlfriend. She is in love, she begged me to go back for more. It's a little pricey but worth the smile that it put on her face :) Definitely will be back, great style, great quality, and great collection. Thank you, and see you soon!"
