"Great selection! Found so many clothes I wanted!!! And affordable prices too. Also very organized and shoppable, plus clothes are in good condition. Everything I bought was purple by chance. 💜"

"Robert Moses might be deemed responsible for much of the current trend, understood in the post-war and modern years as “gentrification”, seen so ubiquitously in our great metropolis today. Without a hint of irony, or a dash of self-absorbed pleasure, I believe even Robert Moses would find the Grand Street L-Train vintage an abomination. From T-shirts I could find in piles of garbage on the street costing $40, to a torn apart, faux Atlanta Hawks jersey, riddled with stains costing double that, this L-train represents the worst that self-aggrandizing Brooklyn establishments are resorting to. Don’t get me wrong, some L-trains slap, and have retained a semblance of the ritual we connotate with “shopping for vintage” but this location crosses the literal and proverbial line of accessible consumer goods to predatory, capitalist poaching by gentrified businesses. Shop local."

"Just a heads-up for anyone using the fitting rooms here — be cautious. The fitting room doors don’t reach all the way up to the ceiling, and I noticed a security camera positioned at one end of the store facing the fitting rooms. Depending on the angle, it looks like the camera could potentially capture your reflection in the mirror while you’re changing if they zoom in. It might be unintentional, but it's worth being aware of for your privacy."

"overpriced for basic clothing and I showed interest to a nice bag and the young lady there took it off the rack and said it wasn’t for sale. Like why is it all of sudden not for sale after Ive expressed interest to an item that I planned on buying ? And she gave attitude when asked for ! I assume with all the overpriced stuff as well they don’t want to make any business."

"Extremely overpriced compared to other L Train Vintage shops I’ve visited in Brooklyn. The staff was incredibly unpleasant — any time you ask a question, it feels like you’re bothering them. On top of that, you get watched like a hawk the entire time, as if they expect you to steal something. I asked for help with a jacket I wanted to buy (priced at €100!) because the zipper was broken. I was trying to fix it myself, hoping to still purchase it, and one of the staff members snatched it from my hands under the pretense of “checking it” — only to put it right back on the rack and walk away, clearly not interested in helping. Totally disrespectful attitude and disappointing customer service. Wouldn’t recommend."
