"I had an awful experience with Journelle’s customer service. I purchased a bra but didn’t like the fit, so I requested a return. My first email went unanswered for days, and only after a follow-up did they respond—telling me they didn’t have return slips yet but would send one when available. That took several more days. After I finally sent back the item, I heard nothing about my refund. Again, I had to reach out, and once more, my email was ignored for days. It took three weeks after they received my return to finally get my refund. Just the worst service—I won’t be shopping here again."

"I've faced a number of inappropriate body comments at other shops. My experience at Journelle was completely different. When I arrived, I was promptly buzzed in by an associate named Stella. I explained to her that while I don't look disabled, I have disabilities that contribute to pain, dizziness, and other issues, and therefore will need more help. She said she was happy to help and brought me a variety of styles and brands to try. She was also very careful to respect my preferences around measuring and privacy, and for the first time in my life, I left bra shopping feeling happy and respected. I'm also a very hard to fit size (usually large cup, small band) and they had a variety of options. If you're tired of weird bra shopping experiences and need a body-positive change of pace, this is the place. If you are prone to dizziness like me, know that there are places to sit down in your dressing room. Bra sizes run differently in the US, UK and France and also between different brands, so don't be surprised if you end up needing different sizes in different companies."

"This is one of my favorite places, but today, at 5 PM in the middle of the afternoon, I walked in to try to buy lingerie, and they were closed for lunch. I asked if someone could help me because I was traveling, but they said, ‘No, sorry, we open at 5:20.’ To me, it’s strange that on a Wednesday at 5 PM, after work hours, they would be taking a break and claiming to be extra busy. They were pretty rude and seemed annoyed that I was knocking on the door at 5 PM on a Wednesday, as if I were being unreasonable."

"My daughter and I worked with Dottie today and she was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. She placed us in our individual dressing rooms which included a bottle of water (nice touch!). I shared what I liked in a bra and what I was looking for, she measured each of us and then brought back many beautiful options. We walked out with 7 new editions to our wardrobe. We also received a card with today's measurements which they also keep on your profile for future reference. It was such a nice experience. THANK YOU, Dottie! We will be back!"

"Avery changed my life by doing a fitting and recommending bras suited to my specific shape. I am 43 years old and I have never felt better about my bra life. The bras are beautiful and of the highest quality, the store is a pleasure to be in, and the staff is top notch. If you are thinking about it, just go and invest in high quality bras. You are worth it!"
