"I would give 0 stars if possible. Walked in on a quiet Friday afternoon to purchase a certain cheese. Three different workers couldn’t answer my simple question about what brand it was before I purchased, none of them friendly about it. The final person who came out from the back rolled their eyes and shook their head when asked by the counter employee. I walked out. PS - this store stinks like dirty underwear and so does the attitude of the service."

"The amazing aroma of the store hits you first. Then you are overwhelmed with a very special cheese selection. The store has some very well-curated artisan foods as well. This is a gem of a store in NYC."

"Came here to expand my palate and get some recommendations for high quality cheeses. I could not be more happy with the experience that I had here. Jeff was incredibly kind and patient. He took the time to thoroughly explain the flavor profile of each cheese I was interested in and which cheeses would pair well with each other. It's clear that the employees of this shop are passionate about what they do. I will return to try some of Jeff's other recommendations including some hard to find cured meats and chocolate covered sweets as well."

"What lease can I say? Ideal sells high quality cheeses and snacks. They carry a wide variety of cheese related items for all occasions. The staff is on point, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. I had a Las minute cheese wheel emergency on New Year’s Eve, Mark and the crew were able to get me what I needed in. Flash. They even gave me advice on how to do what needed to be done. All I can say is thanks for the successful dinner party."
